Be happy you didn’t waste your money. 75% of the good bands on Sunday than the 1st day gets shuts down. Be happy you didn’t waste your money
They sold way too many tickets to this and now the storm has caused the show to stop. Hopefully they open it back up soon. Best bands weren’t on until tonight for me so this sucks
Everything on the opposite side of the main stage was super short as far as lines go. Refilled my water quick, no line for beer, and grabbed $4 hot dogs too.
Waters are 2 for 5 dollars at the big white tents that mainly serve alcohol. The lines for water refills are absurd. Also if you go in between the trucks next to the monster stage there are bathrooms and a food stand with no wait. The long line for water is blocking them so I dont think most people know about either of them
just going back for ADTR. really only wanted to see glassjaw today so I’m glad it rained today and not tomorrow
So many fucking people here. Caught HIPV but they only played 5 songs. Good charlotte were pretty bad. Hanging until ADTR but I’m pretty exhausted. I’m hoping for clear skies tomorrow
Nope! Just cut their set times a bit, but every act still played a minimum of 30 minutes (with the exception of Hidden in Plain View who had already been 20+ minutes into their set by the time the evacuation came up, they got 15.) Very impressed with how quickly they handled the evacuation, and how they were able to swing making sure every act got to play. It’s not easy getting 30,000+ people to do that smoothly. Only band that really got affected was Varials - the power on their stage went out like 4 separate times after the storms.
Spent all of Save Ferris and LTJ, in line trying to get in. The weather stepped in and made up for that by fixing the aquabats/SYG decision. Based on the schedule today, tomorrow is going to blow so hard. I'll sleep tonight knowing that
Monster stage got delayed so bad, such that syg overlapped with adtr. But today was great tbh, during the storm got to check into my shady hotel and pre game mid show and still see all the bands I wanted to see!
Felt bad for varials. Saw adtr at my first warped in 2011 and felt fitting to see them at the last. They’ve had a consistent live show every time I’ve seen them
I’ll write up more about this tomorrow night but overall had a great day. Saw all the bands I wanted to see and they were all really good. The storm didn’t really mess anything up for the bands I wanted to see, ADTR still played a pretty long set so it was actually refreshing to have an hour to relax. Biggest complaint is how overcrowded it was. The line to get in this morning was ridiculously long so a lot of people definitely didn’t get in before the first bands went on. Water refill stations also had extremely long lines most of the day The food was obviously going to be overpriced but it was ridiculous. $15 for chicken tenders (only 2!) and fries. And $7 for a small lemonade. Definitely gonna go to a different stand than whatever that one I went to was
You guys are being gracious. Food/drinks were so over priced ($19 for a kettle one and lemonade - but you get to keep the cup the entire weekend and turn it in for $3) . Being able to leave was nice (got McDonald’s during the break) but there were so many people. I know I’m complaining but it was just crazy how many people were there. I felt like I was at bamboozle 2006 with how far back I was for some of the main stage bands. Tomorrow is stacked and should be a lot of fun. If it wasn’t for the beach/water, idk what I would’ve done all day.
