Do we think TBS plays Tell All Your Friends? Because if they do that shoots to number 1 on my priority list. Also pulled the trigger on an AC ticket.
I'm assuming the headliner situations for Mountain View will be The Used and Jawbreaker, with Sum 41 and All American Rejects being the subheadliners. Atlantic City being Blink 182 and 311, with A Day to Remember and The Offspring being their subheadliners. I know they probably won't be the most popular band playing their day at a fest like this, but I just can't picture 311 not playing last....they're probably one of the few bands playing that'll actually have a legit stage production. Plus it's gonna be such a hits heavy set, it's honestly one of my most anticipated right now.
I'm also a little surprised that Motionless in White isn't on any date. They've been on pretty much every other year since 06-07ish.
AC list as of now Must-sees TBS (if they play TAYF) ADTR The Offspring blink-182 Want to see TBS (if just a normal "hits" set) BFS Man Overboard Bad Religion Less Than Jake The Menzingers The Starting Line Set Your Goals Gym Class Heroes FYS 311 If I have time Reel Big Fish Anti-Flag Andrew W.K. Good Charlotte Frank Iero Trophy Eyes Simple Plan That's a crap ton of bands for me
Sorry, I'm relatively inexperienced in these things, but is there a place on these forums or elsewhere where I could look for a concert buddy? For various reasons, all my friends and family will likely be unable to attend MV with me, and I'm not sure if I'm interested in all that cost and traveling if I'm on my own the entire time. Thanks!
311 did just do a co-headlining summer tour with the Offspring last year, so I could see them doing that again in AC, in some capacity.
It depends if you're planning to Uber/Lyft or drive yourself or have alternative methods but let me see if I remember any more tips. I think Google Maps will more often than not have you take Amphitheater Parkway but I'd recommend taking Shoreline from the 101. This was years ago the last time I did this though. I think there's free street parking too down Shoreline a bit if you're willing to walk the mile or two. Don't hold me to this though. At this stage of my life I just pay the parking bill for festivals haha. Aside from that, just go and have fun. It really isn't a bad venue as far as Warped Venues go in terms of the one's I've been to. I know people get wary of the whole amphitheater setting but it's just two stages, the venue is almost all paved (looking at you Pomona), parking isn't a huge hassle (looking at you Ventura) and MV will probably be in the 80's tops (looking at you Sacramento/San Diego). I've never been a big "get in the pit at Warped" guy though.
Yeah I bet Blink headlines one day, and then The Offpring and 311 co-headline the next For MV, I bet The Offspring headline one night, and either two smaller bands coheadline (I’m thinking like NOFX and BR, or BR and Jawbreaker), or another headliner will be announced next month
Oh I totally forgot The Offspring are also playing MV. Yeah they'll be a headliner or coheadliner for one of the nights for sure.

If the last words sung at the last warped I ever go to are "Well I guess this is growing up" I'll be pretty satisfied
IIRC, they were hoping to use the Mutiny! shows from a couple years ago as a springboard to get onto bigger tours and record new music - and then legal shit, personal shit, and health shit got in the way. I think they would’ve just dropped off altogether if not for the offer for these shows. Which is both really sad, and, considering it’s SYG, not really that surprising.
So it turns out my sister and some of her friends are super down to go to this, so it looks like I might be hitting up Mountain View! Once plans are more concrete I’ll post my must-sees and stuff. I hope it works out!
So I found it weird that the Sounds Of Animals Fighting skipped philly and NJ on this tour. Anyone else think they could be announced after their tour? And may even an RX Bandits set? I mean Anthony Green will already be there.
I mean most of the bands that are TBA people assume are bands that are on winter/spring tours and will be announced after.
I hope Senses Fail gets announced for the AC date. I’ve been hating on this lineup but I’ll most likely go. Once I have a few drinks in me, I’ll be happy I went
Well yeah.... but I was just asking what people thought of the odds of TSOAF and/or the Rx Bandits playing
