Someone may have posted this already but the shows are going to be "probably focused on the first two-thirds of the touring lineups..." according to Lyman, so I guess look more into the pre 2010 lineups for predictions. Vans Warped Tour lineup ‘is going to crush’ for 25th anniversary
Link? The Used is playing AC Beer Fest next month and feel like the organizers of that would be pissed if they got announced for that.
Not sure if this will help anyone going to AC but if your a government worker or military the claridge hotel has 90 dollar rooms which is a huge discount compared to there 230 price. Nothing decent around there is under 230 unless you drive right now.
Might be reading too much into this but The Matches posted an old Warped Tour interview compilation on their Instagram.
Anyone who knows anything about AC, how bad is the Madison hotel? The location is perfect but the hotel seems sketchy af
Someone asked Warped Tour on Twitter a few days ago and they said they'd have that info closer to the announcement date. I just went on the socials to double check and someone asked Kevin on Twitter an hour ago and he said he wasn't sure and he'd get back to them. Guessing we'll hear sometime today on a time.
I wouldn't think so. They're not the giant stars they once were and while they can still play arenas and stadiums, headlining a festival like this seems like it'd be right up their alley. Assuming Warped was trying to get Blink to play last year at a regular date, getting FOB on a big one-off seems possible.
Honestly I disagree. The kids who come to their shows are younger, and as great as their music is they have a pop appeal. I saw them on their fall tour and even on a Tuesday in September the place was PACKED with kids aged like 8-17. I don't see them doing Warped this year but I could see like The Damned Things playing.
I see what you're saying - logistically speaking, they're not really a fit unless they're doing a nostalgia TTTYG/FUCT type set. I think if anything ruled them out, it'd be their current material much more so than their "status" or however you'd wanna interpret that. I lean toward the idea that if Warped wanted to get a big nostalgia headliner for a one-off, reuniting My Chemical Romance for a 15 year "Three Cheers" set (which, coincidentally came out 15 years to the day of the Cleveland show this year) is the way to go.
I honestly can't see them doing it. Their current sets are mostly new material, which isn't geared towards the Warped crowd. I respect them for still playing Saturday at shows, but they're obviously past this point in their career.
MCR has had way bigger offers to reunite over the years. Seriously doubt they jump at Warped even if it was offered.
