Kevin tweeted and said “Sorry everyone thought it was April 1st” after that other tweet that’s in this thread
Pricing Announced: Cleveland (2000 Cap Venue) -$30 GA (Presale Discount) -$35 GA New Jersey -$129.50 GA (Presale Discount)* -$199.50 VIP (Presale Discount) California -$120 GA (Presale Discount)** *$99.50 with additional early bird discount for first 1000 ticket buyers **$99 with additional early bird discount for first 1000 ticket buyers (Single-Day & Post-Presale pricing TBA) ------------------------------------------ $120 & $130 (for CA & NJ respectively) WITH presale discount is steep as fuck.
Curious as to how much fees will be. $100 for both days is great deal (even $129 is good) but they'll probably jack on $20 of fees
People might complain this is expensive but think about it, let's say it's $150 with the fees, that $75 per day with presumably a lineup with a lot of big names. Last year I think tickets were around $50 right? So an extra $25 if we are getting some big names and 30+ bands a day is not too bad
Keep in mind this is this is the PRESALE discount. Once the lineup is announced the pricing will go up to at least $150 before fees.
Guess it’s really all gonna come down to what this lineup is gonna be. 1 ticket will be worth more than the two dates I went to last year combined.
Yeah but IIRC it's a part of some event at the Rock & Roll HoF so there is probably a lot more going on that day so only so many tickets can be allocated for Warped. Just my guess.
I'd imagine the Cleveland show would be worth the price point, they dont seem to be promoting it much at all though both warped/kevin's twitter account have been steering people towards the other 2 locations
Yeah, price wise it’s a steal but I have a feeling the bands will not be great and the music doesn’t even start until 5 pm, so it’s not even all day. And why limit to 2,000 tickets? Seems bizarre.
I think ideally they want people to show up at 3 to tour the museum, and then watch the bands afterwards. I'm still on the fence because I've never been to the actual museum yet and would love to use this as an excuse to go.
Overall I have to say that Warped Managment has done a spectacular job of keeping the lineup leaking for as long as it has been. We are four days from announcement and nothing yet.
Admittedly, no one really cares this year tbh, lol. It's just so regional, a small proprotion of the casual people who'd normally go for fun/nostalgia/give their emo friend company, care.
yeah not a single band has been leaked this year, usually we know about at least a handful of bands being a lock but right now it feels hard to predict
I definitely think it has to do with the fact that it's only a few shows this year, so not as many people are working on putting the lineup together and what was just said above about how not as many people care about trying to find out the lineup
