How is Movements live at Warped? They just seem like someone I rather see in a club setting then at Warped.
They were on Full Sail last summer so it was really great, I'm interested to see how it translates to a larger stage because I've only ever seen them in smaller rooms
I think people only hate this line up for two reasons. They were expecting some huge line up, and they’re mad that certain bands are only playing a couple dates, but those will pass because the line up isn’t bad, it’s just getting overshadowed by those
This is an odd descriptor but they have a very desert-y sound that kinda fits the dry and hot summer vibe of Warped Tour.
Here is my list for San Antonio. I'm pretty sure I will have to miss some of they keep adding bands like senses fail. Ya boi is gonna try to make it out to San Francisco for the weekend between Internship Training and the actual job. So in San Francisco I'll try and see some bands I'm not a super-fanboy of, make it out to some of the non-profit tents, meet & greets, etc. Then in MN do whatever I want, see my bff's fave bands, etc. Priority List Must-Sees -As It Is -Waterparks -All Time Low (SF) -Issues -Chase Atlantic Want To See -Four Year Strong -Movements -Don Broco -State Champs -With Confidence -Broadside Casual Fan -Amity Affliction -Picturesque (SF) -Knuckle Puck -Mayday Parade -Asking Alexandria (MN) If Possible -Black Veil Brides (SF) -The Maine -Ice Nine Kills -Real Friends -Dayseeker -Tonight Alive -Doll Skin -Grayscale -Sleep On It (MN)

Last year was a blast. I went to Hartford by myself and had the most fun I have ever had at a warped tour. Mansfield I went with my friends and it rained the whole day but it made it soooooo much much intense and cooler. Attendance wise it may have been poor for the tour in general, but the acts were top notch.
I hate it cuz it's the same bands that play every other year. The only bands I like on the tour, I've already seen several times at Warped.
I’ve seen every band on here at warped tour, multiple times. That’s the issue. And I’ve grown out of pretty much all of them. However, with this being the last summer, it could be a fun nostalgia trip.
I feel like this year is gonna be like 2017, with all the "good" new bands on side-stages (As It Is, Broadside, Chase Atlantic and Don Broco are all getting more hype than say, Four Year Strong or The Maine are) That being said, we have a lot of mainstream nostalgia draws (All Time Low, Mayday Parade, Reel Big Fish)
This is very much my issue. Between Journey Left and Right (at Holmdel, NJ), the only bands I haven't seen multiple times are The Interrupters, Waterparks, Movements, and Tonight Alive (saw them last month for the first time). I have no interest in seeing Waterparks. I'd do a bit better with the Mutant stages but my interest in metalcore has decreased over time so I'm not looking forward to much on those stages. Owly is the only stage that I haven't seen the majority of the bands on of which As It Is, Don Broco, and Capstan are the only bands that have me even curious at this point I'm not complaining, I'ma go and have a good time. But I can definitely understand people having a bit of a gripe because they've seen so many of these bands on this tour/ or similar fests
Looking at the way the stages are laid out there's still a potential for a lot of main stage bands to be added to various runs.
I was thinking this exact same thing. I’ve noticed a lot of dates have about 8 or so bands on both Left and Right foot stages, when usually there’s about 10 on each stage. So I absolutely think some more main stage acts will be announced for all or most of the tour
I hope more bands are added that are playing the full tour, I’d rather have more bands than longer sets honestly
Honestly shocked As It Is isn't mainstage I guess it's a disadvantage that they're a British band, but still. They played the 2nd biggest stage in 2015, and now they're playing the smallest one. It's even weirder that they're playing the same stage as several bands that opened for them(Sleep On It, Grayscale, Capstan, WithCon) and they're surely bigger than Movements.
AII has pretty much stayed the same in popularity, if not lost just a little more, since 2015. Movements on the other hand has had a massive increase in popularity with each support tour they've done+Feel Something was a massive success (unlike Okay.).
Idk, the show is 10 Hours (11-9) Mainstage and Monster both have 18 bands at my date, so 18 half-hours is 9 hours Owly.fm has 14, so .66 hours (40 mins, 15 to set-up, 25 to play) is 9 hours and 20 mins
I think they’re a place holder for the dates that won’t have as many special guests, I picture a decent amount of bump ups
Before realizing how big they were, I thought As It Is would be Main and Movements would be on the side stage.
