Movements for sure. They’re gonna be huge. State Champs, Real Friends, Grayscale, Trash Boat, Less Than Jake and The Interrupters if they are at your date. Even if you don’t like screaming, go for Motionless in White and Every Time I Die. They put on fantastic live shows.
If anyone is interested, I put together my annual "intro" playlist. It has 5 songs from each band appearing on any of my 3 dates.
I've been so into them this past year, I saw them open for NFG on their tour and they blew me away. Their album is all kinds of wonderful, definitely a band you should start backing hard.
I think I went to high school around the same time as you, and I gotta say... I’m probably most excited to see Waterparks. Give these two a try and see if they’re your speed...
I'm going to jump on the praises for Movements. Feel Something was my 2017 AOTY, so highly recommended. Also you'd probably really like State Champs. And I'll throw out my recommendations for Trash Boat, Knuckle Puck, and Real Friends.
That's how I heard about them too. I feel that everyone who saw them play on that tour is now a big fan, and after this summer when they've had an opportunity to expose new people across the states with to their music they're going to get really big.
