So for the hype, I really wanna get into the Used and Every Time I Die. What are some good songs from each?
ETID - Underwater Bimbos From Outer Space, We'rewolf and Who Invited the Russian Soldier? are my favorites The Used - A Box Full of Sharp Objects, Hospital, Blood On My Hands but I'm not a huge Used fan
Low Teens is what got me into ETID+seeing their live show. Really I always casually listened to their music, but it all just really clicked seeing them live. Specific songs I'd say The Coin Has A Say, Underwater Bimbos, and Map Change. Others will probably disagree though.
The Used: The Taste of Ink, Take It Away, Lies for the Liar, Pretty Handsome Awkward, All That I've Got, A Box Full of Sharp Objects Every Time I Die: The Coin Has a Say, Glitches, The New Black, Floater, Decayin' with the Boys, Ebolarama, We'rewolf, Map Change, Underwater Bimbos from Outer Space, No Son of Mine
I mean… it’s a seated pavilion. The can’t remove the seats that are in the group. But there’s a standing area / pit in front of the stage. They do that at all of the dates that are held at venues like this.
I'm working on my top 15 right now. I'm quite happy with this lineup, wish MD got the bigger bands like everyone else but I'll manage. Crazy about Movements being on main stage, super happy for them. I'll be at MD and maybe Camden too. But here you go. Need to See: Grayscale Movements State Champs Simple Plan The Maine Trash Boat Want to See: Sleep On It Broadside Wage War This Wild Life As It Is Four Year Strong Will See If There's Time: Motionless in White August Burns Red Issues Knuckle Puck Mayday Parade Real Friends Ice Nine Kills The Amity Affliction Kublai Khan
Just wanted to say, I am beyond stoked for The Maine. Those guys are incredible. We met in 2016 and I got to hop on stage with them TWICE that summer. That lead to them letting my band open their Lovely Little Lonely tour and I could not be more thankful for them. SO fucking stoked that they're on. Go watch them if you haven't checked them out, I promise it is worth it.
A Day to Remember seems like the most sure bet for a special guest. I think TDWP could hop on but I can't see them being big enough to be a 'day of' announcement. I could see Of Mice and Men going either way. There was speculation about Paramore does Nashville but that seemed to just dissipate a while back. I've been trying to figire out who could be the huge Pomona guest. Main band that comes to mind is Avenged since they got their start on Warped but that's purely a gut guess
I'm guessing the TBAs are just bands they haven't finished booking. Some big and some small. I think we might see another thing like how Linkin Park jumped on Ventura in 2014
im excited for the years going forward when Kevin puts together stand alone all-star shows instead of this.
Until i see a poster with dates, i ain't getting my hopes up for all stars tour. It be great if it does come back though as warped, all stars and summer slaughter would usually hit MN IN A SHORT TIME PERIOD. Except 2015 when all stars skipped us.
if Scranton gets any special guests, I bet they'll be on Monster. As of now, we have 10 bands on White Lightning and 7 on Red Dawn.
When it was announced that this is the last tour I was gutted I wouldn't be able to make it over for a date for old times sake. I have been in 2005, 2007 and 2011 and every year I saw enough bands to make it a great day. This lineup however has made me feel better about not making it. We have slam dunk festival here in England and that lineup is already much better suited to me.
