They're playing an extended set? I just thought they would play as many DTLI songs into the given timeslot.
Is sharptooth playing today? They posted their set time on instagram this morning but I don’t see their name on the schedule
Do bands generally accept credit when buying merch at Warped? Want to pick up some stuff for a few friends but I'd rather not walk around with 200 Canadian dollars.
1135 - Sleep On It (or merch/water) 1210 - This Wild Life 110 - Movements 140 - William Ryan Key (or break) 215 - Boradside (or break) 300 - Dayseeker 340 - State Champs 430 - Wage War 510 - Real Friends 615 - Trash Boat 640 - Knuckle Puck 800 - Senses Fail Conflicts would have been This Wild Life v. In Hearts Wake, Movements v. Ice Nine Kills, State Champs v. Motionless in White, Wage War v. Issues, Trash Boat/Knuckle Puck v. Every Time I Die/Chelsea Grin. Way too many conflicts for this day, also a lot of down time between sets (i.e. the time block between Trash Boat and Senses Fail).
I may be wrong but I feel like the majority didn't take card last year. I didn't get to buy much last year though cause they took down the tents at 7:00 so I may have just missed them. Edit: Nvm, they mostly do it seems.
From my experience, pretty much all the band and official Warped merch tents accept credit cards. The only exceptions I can think are food trucks and generic stands (water, hats, etc.), your odds can be 50/50 on any given day. I’d still say bring about $40-60 in cash just to be safe!
They are indeed playing an extended set. Someone on Twitter was complaining that they wanted to hear the non-DTLI hits and Warped Tour tweeted them back saying they are playing a 45 minute set and the album front to back was about 35 so they'll be room for other hits.
Someone asked Kevin on Twitter and he said most bands have the ability to take cards. I'm not sure if there will be a difference with a Canadian Card though.
Someone earlier in the thread said that they’re playing a longer set. I’m not sure who or what their source was.
Yes, thanks! Warped's Twitter let this be known. I'm happier for the extension, because not only do they deserve it as this is their hometown show, but, their set should be dedicated to more than just DTLI. (It's 15th year was last year).
Y’all just gotta call your bank beforehand if you’re about to purchase in another country. For anyone going across the border for a date.
I did that. Some machines want the chip but doesn’t want to read the chip for some reason. Biggest problem I had was at Books A Million in Cleveland last year. The only way it would go through is if we manually keyed in the credit card number into the machine. And something tells me that’s not an option on those little phone machines.
i’m gonna be a little late tomorrow so i hope someone posts a pic of the set times so i can plan out the day before i get there
Saturday will be such a fucking mess holy shit. Also, does anyone know how well Holmdel sold last year?
