So would bringing like a mini sling backpack with me and even into some pits not look too off? I'm not sure what the balance is between being prepared for the day while still being able to go in a crowd like that, first time going to warped
That’s what I always do. Just make sure it’s not too loose/bouncing around too much and you should be fine.
If today was my day 11:30 - Senses Fail 12:00 - Four Year Strong 12:30 - Issues (Conflict with With Confidence) 1:00 - The Maine 1:30 - Waterparks (Conflict with Grayscale) 2:30 - State Champs 3:00 - Ice Nine Kills/This Wild Life (Split) 3:30 - Mayday Parade/Trash Boat (Split) 4:00 - Real Friends 4:35 - Chase Atlantic (Conflict with Knuckle Puck) 5:15 - Don Broco 6:00 - Movements 6:30 - Motionless In White 7:15 - Picturesque 7:55 - As It Is (Conflict with Amity Affliction) This would be a fun day, but that Issues/With Confidence conflict would KILL me
Photo is a little blurry but I think this is what my schedule would have been: 1130 - Senses Fail 1230 - Issues 130 - In Hearts Wake 200 - Wage War 230 - State Champs 300 - Ice Nine Kills 335 - Trash Boat 400 - Real Friends 430 - Knuckle Puck 500 - SharpTooth (or break) 600 - Movements 630 - Motionless in White 700 - Chelsea Grin 730 - Dayseeker 800 - The Amity Affliction (or leave) Conflicts would gave been Ice Nine Kills v. I watched ETID for the first time at SLC last weekend...and I don't see why there's all this hype about seeing them? I was indifferent about their set.
I haven't seen them on Warped this year but I've probably seen them live 10 times over the years and they always bring an energy to the stage that very few other acts can match. They're heavier than your average Warped band so maybe their just not as fitting with your particular taste.
This is my thing with them. I love watching them from afar or from side stage because their energy is unmatched but I can’t get into the music unfortunately.
I was the same way the first time I saw them open for Beartooth a couple years ago. I saw them again last summer opening for taking back Sunday and suddenly “got it”. There’s just something about their live show that’s just enjoyable.
My schedule for today would have been 11:15 - Doll Skin (Conflict with Senses Fail) 12:00 - Four Year Strong 12:30 - Harms Way 1:00 - The Maine 1:30 - Waterparks (Conflict with With Con) 1:55 - Grayscale (Conflict with Simple Plan) 2:30 - State Champs 3:00 - Ice Nine Kills 3:30 - Every Time I Die (Conflict with Mayday) 4:00 - Real Friends 4:30 - Knuckle Puck 5:00 - Sharptooth (or a break) 5:30 - 3OH!3 6:00 - Movements 6:30 - Motionless In White (Conflict with Reel Big Fish) 7:15 - Picturesque 7:30 - The Used (partial) 8:00 - The Amity Affliction Not TOO bad for conflicts today, but still a little rough.
I'll be out tomorrow, first one in forever because I'm old, let's all pray ETID plays after 1:30 since that's the only reason I'm really going
There's an emo night after each of the last 3 days if warped. Debating if I want to just never sleep and go to all of them haha
