I kinda wanna check them out if I have a chance, I wish the rap selection this year was a little better though. Something like Yelawolf or MGK or something of the sort

 

I just looked at some pictures of their crowd yesterday, and I don’t understand. I guess that’s a small crowd in California standards. Maybe I’m just used to Albuquerque sizes crowds, but that’s pretty big

I just looked at their Instagram and their pictures make it look like waaaay more people were there than there actually was. Or maybe the crowd grew after I left...

 

The Amity Affliction has a new record coming out August 24th.

 

I saw them for a bit towards the end of their set while I was waiting for ETID. I personally think that they weren't funny. It seemed that all their jokes fell flat.

 

Update: Here’s one of my own photos of Twiztid’s set. So here’s what the crowd was

 

Oh yeah, I guess it’s all just angles then. Trick photography on their part haha I don’t plan on watching them. I like rap and the idea of “horror rap” with a funny twist sounded cool but listening to them, there’s not much special there

 

They’re still worth checking out. I’m not a major fan of them or the whole horrorcore scene, but it was one of those “hey, they’re on Warped, I’ve known them for a while, I might as well see them” sort of things

 

had a great time last night. ETID are clearly the band of the tour, but no surprises there.

Real Friends were great, as were The Maine. I missed Mayday to go get beer (this is where Slam Dunk in the UK wins out, you can walk around drinking), and didn't get there earlier enough for Trash Boat. The sun was intense but I didn't get burnt, so all in all, solid day.

 

I bet Twiztid will do way better in different markets.

 

I think Midwest will be where they get their big draw

 

I didn’t know you couldn’t walk around with beer! Now that you mention it, I guess I’ve never seen anyone drinking at warped

 

I might look for this, I find it ironic you can’t drink but the Massachusetts date last year had the most weed smokers I’ve seen since it became legal

Yeah, beer cage, no exit with alcohol. Craziness

 

In Detroit they will have a massive crowd. Juggalos are crazy man.

 

Yeah, Ventura has always had a beer garden. I'll probably end up killing time in there because there's not a ton of bands I want to see.


BRAIN FLASH: The beer garden is the 20-something year old version of Reverse Daycare (the parents tent).
