NOTHING was working for them, electrically, so they were taking forever to go on. After 17 minutes, Austin went out and played three songs acoustic. It was pretty awkward.
Jesus, where does that comment come from? Because he was angry that nothing was working and the people responsible for it were showing ZERO urgency about fixing it? I mean, I get not liking Waterparks, but I just do not get why so many people here are so eager to see them fail. EDIT: hope things go better for them in Ventura.
Like, I find Waterparks a little annoying, but I don't want to see them fail. I'd have laughed if that had happened to most other bands today - it's kind of a funny thing to watch happen in real time.
Also, I might just turn off the stream now, as much as I like The Used. I don't really like their recent performances of old songs since Bert can't scream anymore.
I have never listened to that band before, so I had no opinion of them before except for their god awful merch in the warped merch thread. The singer was making it a point to act like a diva and make everyone know he was pissed off....you can be mad things didn’t work out, but he was over doing it and being dramatic, and the between song banter was very cringeworthy, if my girlfriend was home I would be embarrassed and turned it off, very just immature, and I’m not a fan of feeling like every other word needs to be a curse word, so you can get a cross how edgy they are. Bands like these are for middle school-early high school kids that get older and are embarrassed they listened to that, and if so many people are against them as you said, maybe these are the reasons wise. Just not my cup of tea. Checked out th stream gave them a chance...sure they had some tough luck but all bands do and they don’t throw tantrums about it. I’ve seen bands have difficulties so band that they couldn’t play or could play one song. They made the most of it and moved along. That is the business.
Simple Plan sounded pretty good on the live stream. Bit of a weird question, but does anyone know what tent sells the printed copy of the daily schedule, when i went in 2014 and 2015 I remember paying like $2 maybe $4 for one but I can't remember where exactly i got it from.
I think he's doing the opposite. Not trying to seem cool, just swearing and showing emotion like a normal person.
Wasn't able to go back and see Mayday or Real Friends, but The Maine, Simple Plan, and State Champs all sounded fantastic.
Yeah usually there's a few people right behind the gates selling them, if not they should be at the Vans tent where they sell other stuff like sunglasses and earplugs
I wasn’t able to watch the full live stream but from what i saw, Simple Plan had the bet sound, and the beast crowd seemed like a toss up between Reel Big Fish and 3oh!3, both are pretty surprising for the fact that it’s 2018. I feel really bad for Waterparks.
