oh, cool save ferris is doing the whole tour now.think any other bands will go from partial to whole tour?
It's possible that some of the bands that are currently missing 7/4 may wind up doing that show. That date was added late in the game so it's possible many of those bands weren't officially "signed" for it. I've seen something similar happen in past years.
Friends! We have finally arrived in Mexico! Here are first confirmed bands! Buy your tickets at http://bit.ly/2mRf43a or NO CHARGES at the official box office of the festival located in Dakota # 147 Col. Naples. Next band announcement April 18th at 11:00 AM CST
Is this all one stage or spread across multiple stages? Alesana that low on the bill surprises me. Not because I think they're more popular, just that I didn't think their ego would let them be that low.
Alesana must be a big draw in Mexico still. They played Ozzfest in Mexico a year or two ago and I remember seeing pictures of a huge crowd during their set.
agreed, they bring in a pretty decent size crowd. Idk about other venues, but my date where they put the Full Sail stage is in the middle of merch tents and it's too small of space for a crowd like theirs to stand.
Brought this up on the predicted lineup thread. Warped is offering the raly bus/ rock n bus thing again this year. I just got a email about it today. Yeah, don't do it. What they don't tell you is that the bus is tentatively scheduled. I fell for this in 2012 they bailed on the bus a week before my date. It took like 3 months to get my money back from the bus company. Spent $40 on a warped ticket i didn't get to use. Grrrr sorry, i'm still salty about that. No refund on the ticket i bought.
Something I might do this year that I've been wanting to do for a while is see how many Facebook likes each band starts and ends the tour with. Might be interesting to see the growth each band has in that time period.
You should. It'll be interesting to see how much bands like jule vera and some of the other acts that are under 10000 fb likes do especially.
Looking at my Warped date, I saw 20 bands I would like to check out, 18 of which I have never seen before. Plus it's on a Saturday so I won't have to take off work. For $40, 20 bands seems like a more than decent deal.
Does anyone want to try and do a Most Anticipated Chorus Bands again this year? It kind of fizzled last year and I was pretty bummed. I can manage it if people want to send me lists?
Let's do it! I figured we'd be people a few weeks to check out the band's. Now that I have seen NFG I can finally check out the Warped bands.
Basically everyone makes a list of their Top 15 bands, tiered by how high they are on the list. #1 gets 15 points each, #2 gets 14, all the way down to the end where #15 gets one. We give it a deadline and then I'll add them all up to see what our collective most anticipated list would be.
If we do the most anticipated, here's my top 15 1. CKY 2. Adolescents 3. GWAR 4. Dance Gavin Dance 5. Carnifex 6. Anti-Flag 7. The Ataris 8. Creeper 9. Hawthorne Heights 10. Candiria 11. Hatebreed 12. Silverstein 13. Street Dogs 14. Strung Out 15. Microwave Would have made the cut if they were on my date: Goldfinger, Suicide Machines, Bowling For Soup
I'm still deciding if I want to go this year, but if I go, these are my priorities. 1. GWAR 2. Silverstein 3. Save Ferris 4. The Suicide Machines 5. The Ataris 6. Hatebreed 7. Knocked Loose 8. Attila 9. Beartooth 10. The Acacia Strain 11. CKY 12. I, Prevail 13. Adolescents 14. Hawthorne Heights 15. American Authors
I'd say just their date. If I did all dates, there'd be a TON on mine, like Goldfinger, Streetlight and Big D.
