Looks like wrestler Jeff Hardy's band PeroxWhy?Gen were offered to play 2 dates at this year's Warped Tour: "And definitely I hope to play many more shows throughout the year. I was actually so close to playing two dates on the Warped Tour this summer. They offered through my guitar player and that’s huge. That’s like being in there with the major leaguers. I was like so scared because I didn’t know if we could do it. That needs to be the full band with the heavy songs and all that. It was just too soon. So hopefully summer of 2018 we’ll be able to jump on that. Evidently a Jeff Hardy fan was in the system there and said it would be great to have you on. I don’t think we were ready this year, but hopefully next year we’ll have a few dates on the Warped Tour which is going to be breathtaking.” Jeff Hardy Says The Hardys Have Not Been Offered Contracts by WWE and Will Not Be Signing with WWE Anytime Soon - Wrestlezone
I've taken this off of the wikipedia page so correct me if any of these are wrong. This would've been cool to see. Too bad him and Matt are probably gonna be busy with WWE after this weekend. On a related note this year's lineup would've been perfect to have Fozzy do a few dates too since Chris Jericho is taking time off to tour with them. Too bad they're doing the European festival ring.
Talks are still up in the air as of today but I think they don't want to ruin the surprise. We might find out on Monday! I've seen Fozzy a few times (Rich Ward their guitarist is a friend of ours) and they're really good! The crowd is mostly wrestling fans but they eat that shit up since Chris is a few feet away from them lol
Rumor is they're going to SD to help that tag division. Since Matt is still in a lawsuit with TNA over the Broken character, chances are they'll return as "team extreme". Not my first choice but hey, it could lead to a proper singles run for both of them.
My biggest concern is that the Smackdown writers just can't do tag teams well. They neutered a white hot American Alpha and heel Uso's should be a much bigger draw. I don't think throwing another big money draw at the division will fix it.
Come on, we both know that's WWE logic. "We have no faith in anyone other than Reigns so let's bring in part timers and once popular superstars until we figure out what to do".
Honestly, Taker should get the W in a hard fought match. Then wait until Roman gets up and shake hands. Roman turns to leave and then Superman punch to start his heel turn. Unfortunately, he's the 2nd highest merch seller (behind Cena) so they don't want to touch that at all.
Not to mention the betting odds have Orton over Wyatt. So there's a chance that Lesnar and Orton will be the top guys on both shows.
