Today would have been a solid day to go schedule wise for me. Not sure what time Big D played but no conflicts besides Anti Flag vs Knocked Loose. And def would have picked AF because it's their hometown show today.

Probably would have left before STYG though. 9:30 seems very late

 

I know it's late but I would definately like to support the notion that the LI/Wantagh date is easily the most overly violent date of the east coast. I got my face kicked in at Sworn In out of all bands and chipped a tooth, scored a black eye and broke my nose.

Seriously people listen to him. I used to not wear earplugs too. The ringing in my ears i can deal with now but as a blind person having my ears ringing so badly that i seriously would have problems functioning after going to shows. This is not fun. I do not make a good deaf blind person

 

What kind of earplugs do you use? Like I have a pair of foam ones that I got for free forever ago...is that enough?

 

I use ones from etymotjc. Yeah. pricey but your hearing is worth it. Something is better than nothing though,even if you get cheap 100 pack from like walgreens and keep it in car,bag etc. For when you go to shows. I still do this just in case i lose the pricey ones.

And earplugs just help tighten up the loose frequencies that the venue acoustics may not be able to handle, so I always use earplugs because they make the sound so much better.
