I'll be at Hartford on Sunday and Mansfield on Wednesday. Sunday is my 23rd birthday so come find me in Hartford and tell me that nobody likes me.
See you guys there too! Stoked. Rain is stopping at 10am according to the weather report right now. Looks like we'll have a nice day. (Really don't want them to stick the main stages in the amphitheater again)
I bitch and moan about Warped getting worse every year and yet, every year I buy a ticket. Guess I'll be at Wantagh,NY this Saturday. 12th year in a row.
The main stages were in the amphitheater last year too without any rain. I think that's just how they're setting it up.
Yeah, Scranton had both main stages in the amphitheater for the first time last year. They had one of the main stages in there in 2012, but I think that was due to the massive storm that hit that day. Last year had nice weather.
When should I trust the weather report for the Massachusetts date? It's six days away and I feel like I shouldn't trust it just yet
See you on Sunday! Shoot me a PM if you want to meet up at some point. I'm driving down from Montreal with a buddy for the weekend and know nothing about the area.
I can't be sure but I think there's one Journeys stage in the pavilion today and one somewhere else. 5 minute set time differences. Edit: I can't be sure but I think that the Journeys Left Foot and Hard Rock are switching off, while the Journeys Right Foot and Skullcandy switch off in the pavilion. Also some bands on the Monster stages get half and hour while some get 25 minutes today, really odd.
Hey shoot me a PM too. I'll be going to Hartford when I get out of work at 4 and then I'll be in Mansfield on Wednesday as well.
The schedules this year have been all over the place. Every date will be different as far as set time lengths are concerned.
I'm talking like for example: Silent Planet gets a half hour today, while FFAK gets 25 minutes. No real consistency to set times today. I guess it would make sense if Gwar and Hatebreed were the only ones who got a half hour.
This date was fine until the rain. I had zero conflicts until after CKY started at 6. They were supposed to play at 5:25. Due to this, I Prevail time of 7:05-7:30, Silverstein 7:25-7:55, DGD 7:50-8:15 ended up being way off. I Prevail started at 7:40, Silverstein at 7:45 and DGD at 7:50 still since the amphitheater stages didn't stop. Trainwreck conflict hit me of I Prevail/Silverstein/DGD. Every band was getting 25 min sets. Times were very bizarre. They mixed Left Foot with Hard Rock outside and Right Foot with Skullcandy in the amp. It led to some very difficult treks in terms of knowing who I could see.
I'll be sure to PM both of you! And if you have any questions about the area / Hartford, hit me up! I'm about 20 minutes outside of the city and can definitely answer any questions you have.
This year can't possibly be as disorganized as 2005. Just go back and look at that date by date breakdown. I think damn near every non-main stage band played on every stage at least once that summer. And that was the peak of Warped if you ask some people.
