I was pretty impressed when I saw them live a couple years ago, but I have never listened to any of their studio recordings.
I don't really like War on Women's music, but their politics are exactly what the tour needs right now.
Last year they didn't. They had beer in the parent area but didnt let anyone in unless they had the free parent ticket and stopped selling it there at 1pm because people kept complaining and trying to get around that system. I'm switching up my date and going to scranton because of that and there the same distance for me
I don't even drink at Warped, but the thought of a large scale Rock/Metal festival not selling beer is bizarre.
I have never heard of it until I moved to the northeast. Do you know if scranton sells beer? Im kind of winging it and hoping they do.
Yeah, they do. They don't open as many beer tents as other shows there, but I know the main food/drink stand sells beer at Warped. If you have any questions about the Scranton setup, let me know. This will be my 13th Warped Tour at that venue.
I just had a thought regarding the door change and low ticket sales. With that 30 dollar ticket after 4pm being implemented, could this be a way for those fans to get more bang for their buck? Usually warped would end at 830 but with the new schedule it would end a little after 10. Their excuses with more sleep and less heat obviously are helpful and could be logical. But part of me wonders if this could be the true reason.
some dates that have started at 12:30 still have 30 minute sets. i believe the 25 min set times are for the Florida dates in case there's a weather delay. In the case there is a rain delay, they have an extra 30 minutes to push bands into the schedule (until 10:00).
As long as the bands all play their usual set times I really LOVE the 12:30 push... hopefully this means some of the ending bands we'll see with in the night without the sun, though I wonder when the sunsets around Shakopee then... seeing Gwar at night would be amazing (but they would need a light set up which I'm not sure they have...)
Sun starts setting at like quarter to 9. If things wrap up at 10ish the last 2 to 3bands maybe at night.
Damn, there are so many conflicts today, it would've been a nightmare for me if I went to this date (Well, I hear that Florida's a nightmare anyways, but...) blessthefall/Dance Gavin Dance/Boston Manor all conflict together Silveestein/Creeper Too Close To Touch/Neck Deep And White Noise/The Gospel Youth conflict too, what the hell
Currently here in West Palm, schedule has been perfect for me aside from just a couple of sets bleeding into each other, MAN it’s hot though. Trophy Eyes, Bad Seed Rising, Silverstein, and MMF killed it; awesome day so far. Stoked to see GWAR, Counterparts, KL, and blessthefall soon!
