Calling it now. Next year warped will be stacked for pop punkfans and metal people like me will be cranky.
Kevin didn't really go into detail. He posted a brief video announcing it on his Twitter page if you wanted to watch for yourself. He just did the typical reasons beyond our control type explanation.
I'm thinking there is something wrong on the venue's end. Outlaw Music Fest just cancelled their scheduled stop at the same place, which was planned for 3 days after the Warped show.
I seriously can't wait to see Candiria. They haven't played more than a handful of shows since their van crash in 2002... and if I'm correct, all of those shows were in NY or NJ.
I can't believe my date is next weekend. Kind of sneaking up on me since I didn't know if I could go until this week.
That's because they didn't announce it was being delayed. They haven't mentioned it in months and pre-orders were never launched, so it was a fair assumption to say it was being delayed. But it's still shitty to not say anything about your album being delayed and hoping people just forgot it was supposed to come out Edit:Looks like they did actually tweet about it, directing all questions to Equal Vision
Something seems very off in the BAAO camp right now. Warped starts in a week and they haven't made a Facebook post since May 13th. That's extremely strange. Everybody else on the tour is very active on social media at the moment.
I'd really like to nail down a ride for next weekend. I would take the Rally bus, but it seems unreliable and I don't want to risk it. If anyone if is coming through/from Portland I can provide $20 gas money or a ticket to Taking Back Sunday in exchange for a ride.
The whole BAAO thing is just odd. You'd think Equal Vision would want to push this new album super hard, what with them being their only band on Warped this year.
That's why this makes no sense. EV always do a great job promoting albums especially the acts on Warped Tour. There's 2 scenarios I can think of right now. It's either EV doesn't like the album or BAAO went over budget/album isn't done yet. Other than that, I don't think we'd be in the dark about this and that tweet from the band doesn't put EV in a good light.
Yeah it's definitely the first. BAAO is different from many bands on EQ, sounds like they expected a more mainstream approach. The three songs I have heard are phenomenal
The Ataris posted this image. I don't know if it's just a reference to the tour starting or if they're releasing something that day.
On the warped tour compilation they have a song listed I don't recognize called trash panda, maybe it's that
