Who thinks echosmith can come back as main stage

 

Could this year finally be the year we see the plot in you or counterparts?

 

They'd have to actually finish their album first. It's been forever.

Madina Lake announced their reunion.

 

I doubt they'd do Warped. I think they're just like Alexisonfire in the sense that they had a great fanbase everywhere except for the US.

 

I guess we can unfortunately throw Front Porch Step back in as an option.

 

Both parties would be smart to just avoid that possibility. No musicians in this scene like him anymore and it would be bad business for Warped.

 

If he was smart he wouldn't have tried to rejump his career. And if Kevin was smart he wouldn't have let him play that one day. I don't think we can rule out any stunt here.

If Front Porch Step played Warped, I would never, ever, ever go to Warped Tour again.

 

I'd be down for Madina Lake. Always wanted to see them live.

 

Not really a Get Scared fan, but he was in the band for like 6 months 5 years ago. As bad as his actions are, I really don't think the rest of the band should take any blame here.

 

Starset's summer is currently unbooked. Maybe a warped spot?

 

Aren't they more of a hard rock festival type band?

 

I mean, Young Guns and From Ashes to New both played last year so anything is possible.

 

this gets me thinking, stitched up heart maybe? I woulda much rather had them do warped when they were heavier but possibility?

 

I can see them and their current tour mates Letters from the Fire.

 

I don't care for Black Veil Brides but I hope they play just to sell tickets this year. They'd probably be the biggest draw of any of the bands still in the running to play.

 

I'd say PTV for most realistic bands. Obviously BMTH or ADTR if they ever played a full or majority run.

 

I know it's only Facebook likes but BVB has 4.1 million and PTV has 3.1 million likes.

 

I've been using Spotify listeners to kinda get an idea of a band's current relevance. Facebook likes are hit or miss because in the case of a lot of older bands in the Warped scene, a lot can be from people who liked it years ago and now have little to no interest in a band. For example Alesana has 2.5 million likes, but that certainly isn't representative of their draw in 2017. On the other hand, a huge newer band like State Champs only has 179,000.

 

Kevin said on Twitter that the lineup will be announced on March 22nd. I wasn't sure if that was known already or not.

He also said they are "working on a speaking stage open mic stage idea." That sounds intriguing.

 

I've been basing their current relevance on Spotify listeners as well.

 

If it's coming 3/22 I'd expect a leak in early March
