Not sure how it would translate with draw, but they average well over a million monthly listeners on Spotify. That's higher than the vast majority of other bands in my prediction. Story Of The Year seems like the real stretch in my prediction if anything.
That's unfortunately what I figured haha. I just had a hard time coming up with a full main stage lineup, which is concerning. Them and SOTY are probably better suited for Poseidon/Cyclops, but placing them among 2-4 other nostalgia bands might boost their draw a bit. Although RJA is one of those bands that I could see drawing much better at fests than headliners. A lot of people at Warped might come to their set to watch Face Down, but wouldn't go see them headline in order to do it. Just speculation from me of course. After a band like Family Force 5 did main stage in 2015, nothing seems impossible anymore.
Story of the Year is better suited for the main stage. FF5 actually has a huge stable following that's pumped about their entire set instead of RJA's 1 song. As we both know, weird shit happens all the time on Warped.
Well that's good to hear. I don't know much about them. I remember seeing them at Warped a long ways back in 07 or 08. Then heard nothing until they were announced for Warped in 2015. I caught the end of their set that summer before The Wonder Years played and it was very tiny for a main stage band. But everyone at the barricade seemed to know the words so you're definitely right about the dedicated fans.
Yeah FF5 actually has a pretty big Christian audience. They're 1 of the top tiered bands on those festivals.
Stray from the Path said in a FB AMA that they have zero summer touring plans, but they'll be back in the fall touring everywhere in the world.
Just saw this too. Just to be clear based on the wording, they are NOT on Warped. Q: Do you have any plans for US summer touring? Stray From The Path: Zero. We are off all June/July and August. But starting september we will be touring the world. Quite literally.
Waterparks in live Fb chat just said I do know know about warped but not saying anything so maybe back on
awsten brought it up multiple times saying that he knows if they're on (obviously) but won't say anything so it seems likely
That's the only way I could see them returning. What would they have to gain being on the Posideon/Cyclops stage again?
What about some of the bands on The Maine's Spring Tour? Obviously not The Maine themselves since they played last year, but I feel like The Mowgli's could be the American Authors of last year.
Andy Biersack is hosting the APMA's. I think that's enough to confirm Black Veil Brides for this summer.
I've actually been thinking the past couple days that BVB might not be playing, but Andy might be out doing his solo stuff
Wouldn't that make them unavailable? I feel like they rehearse for the APMA's for a few days and he would obviously need to be there. Just a thought
