I know Pvris had possibly been ruled out, but with the new Muse/30stm/Pvris tour being announced, and so much time between dates, I'm wondering if they (or Muse/30stm) might do a partial run? Particularly because Pvris isn't playing the show on June 15, and the next stop on the Muse tour after that isn't until July 22.
100% not a troll, Ive been here for a few years when it was AP. Ive been to their management headquarters so obviously I know people on their day to day team. Its around that. I promise you without a doubt and theres probably a few people whom I've met on this site then in person that can vouch for me that i dont just sit here and troll. they get backdoor deals meaning they get a cut of concessions and other things
I also take back the SOAD comment after some research I found the article and it was 325k a night guarantee
Maybe Pierce the Veil misses the first few dates like Asking Alexandria did back in 2015? I believe Motion City Soundtrack filled in the first two dates that year.
Sounds like You Me At Six have something planned here in America that isn't Warped Tour. You Me At Six premiere video for “Give”—talk going dark and big plans for America - Features - Alternative Press
Just a thought looking at all the bands that we know WON'T be playing this year. It seemed like 2016 was a return to pop punk with almost every single of one my favorite bands playing the tour. Maybe this year we will see more heavy bands. I just don't know which ones.
Just off the top of my head, these are some of the more popular bands that I don;t think have been ruled out yet. The All-American Rejects The Amity Affliction Architects As It Is Attila Beartooth Black Veil Brides Blessthefall Born Of Osiris Crossfaith Emmure Escape The Fate I Prevail Memphis May Fire Mod Sun Moose Blood Neck Deep Never Shout Never New Years Day ONE OK ROCK Seaway Senses Fail Set Your Goals Silent Planet Silverstein Stick To Your Guns Parkway Drive Pierce the Veil (UK/EU tour w/ Good Charlotte until 6/18 - partial dates?) PVRIS (summer tour with Muse/30STM - partial dates?) Underoath
Crossfaith said on Facebook yesterday that they will be doing a lot of international touring this year. So Warped definitely seems possible for them. Also, I think PTV might miss the first 2 or 3 dates then jump on. Asking Alexandria did that in 2015 and Sum 41 did it last year. Maybe the gap between 6/17 and 6/21 is to give them time to fly in from those shows? They're probably the biggest draw I've seen in these predictions. I can definitely see Kevin planning it around their plans.
I did not process Warped Tour being international for them at first. Guess that's what happens when the average band is American or even Canadian.
I read somewhere on AP back in the day that AAR asked for an insane amount of money to do warped so Kevin gave up trying to get them on the tour.
I would think so Definitely a lot of solid guesses. I would be All American Rejects do it and that'd be a cool one to have. Although I still can't get over how terrible the new song they played on the Blink tour was
Most of your list is in my prediction. I've been updating it constantly since all these fests and tours have ruled out certain bands. I'd be shocked if kevin didn't ask Attila to return.. they did partial 2013 dates, all of 2014 and 2015. They played monster both 13 & 14, and main in 15. Say what you want about them, no doubt do they bring the fucking party and crowds at warped. they were the last band to play in VA beach in 2015 and I could see people stretched across the parking lot jumping, t they had the biggest circle pit of the day. emmure haven't played since 2010 and I'm sure they'd have decent crowds considering they don't really hit the exact markets warped does. silverstein are probably a lock at this point.. they've been recording and I don't think have anything lined up for the spring or summer. underoath could do the entire tour honestly, they are still big, and have only gained hype since their return. If they don't do the whole tour, they'd probably do select dates in the middle of the tour.. the BMTH tour wouldn't rule them or beartooth out. and as for beartooth, they are heavily rumored for the ADTR tour.. I wouldn't entirely rule them out either. someone I haven't seen mentioned much is after the burial, their tour with emmure is pretty extensive, but shouldn't effect anything, since FFAK is more than likely locked too. these are other bands I haven't seen brought up much, unless I skipped over them at some point: Like Moths to Flames (2013 was the only year they've played) Stray from the Path The Acacia Strain (played 2010 or 2011) I wrestled a bear once (played 2012) Stick to your Guns Make them Suffer (never done it) Adestria (are they still around?) Phinehas Forevermore Norma Jean
I have a feeling that ADTR's tour will be in the fall. These are the shows they already have lined up. 3/18 - Ocala, FL @ TBA 3/25 - Tucson, AZ @ KMFA Day 4/28 - Tampa, FL @ 98Rock Fest 4/30 - Ladson, SC @ 98 Rockfest 6/10 - Donington, UK @ Download Festival 6/16-6/17 - Geel, BE @ Grasspop 6/16-6/18 - Clisson, FR @ Hellfest 7/14 - Minneapolis, MN @ X Games
What about Lower Than Atlantis? They just dropped a new record and are going on a UK headliner next month with support from Young Gun, Hands Like Houses and Roam, all who are warped tour bands.
