Chances of a whole bunch of pop punk bands? We already locked Neck Deep and As It Is. What about: - In Her Own Words - Like Pacific - WSTR - City Lights - Carousel Kings - Seaway - Major League
Major League and City Lights are broken up, but all of the other ones are possible. I'd add Moose Blood, Trophy Eyes, Boston Manor, Forever Came Calling and Rarity to that list.
i wasn't told what tour they were on.. but a friend went to carnifex lastnight and hung out with them and he said they have summer plans. warped?
Came here to post about Carnifex as well. I've seen two people in Facebook groups so far today saying that they told the crowd they were doing Warped at their show last night. Not sure if they name dropped the tour specifically, but it seems like the general consensus is Warped.
Man its about time. I don't know if that whole "them not wanting to be associated with the whole deathcore label" thing was true or not, but I'm super stoked for this. Fit For A King, Emmure, Neck Deep, and now Carnifex are all at the top of my list.
Anyone else think Callmekarizma might be on? I can't find any summer plans for him and he's had his share of alternative press buzz recently. He fits into the warped crowd too... As far as hip hop acts go.
What about eyes set to kill? They posted on fb the other day they'd have an album out and tour this year. Not getting hopes up too much as last album cycle seems like they were going in hard rock direction and getting away from screamo/metalcore. 2010 was the last time they did warped. Maybe? Older band that drew good when I wasn't old. lol
they are confirmed to play, band themselves said it at a show the other night and then they told a friend. so add them to the list.
This year will be my favorite since 2013 if the heavy bands rumors (Carnifex, Harms Way, Municipal Waste, Knocked Loose) prove true. Otherwise it'll be as disappointing as 2015 for me.
Dance Gavin Dance would at least be one great band in the line up for me. Anything else would just be a bonus.
Yeah, PUP's set kicked major ass in 2015 and I'd love to see them there again, but I heard from many places that it wasn't their cup of tea at all. The only bands they seemed to make friends with were Lee Corey Oswald and The Dirty Nil, who had similar feelings about their experiences from what I heard.
PUP was a TON of fun to watch, and one of the high points of the day. I'm dying to see them in a club.
I had to look him up and he looks like a creepy hipster. Then I saw the song "F U till I F U" and that just confirmed my suspicions.
PUP and Dirty Nil will definitely never play again. Kicking myself so hard for not watching Nil that year
Not surprised at all. I'm still kind of surprised that Mod Sun is still going strong. I remember seeing his first tour opening for SKSK's final tour and he was decent.
I am getting into As It Is in preparation-- they are fantastic (: Guess I will be prepping on a lot of new music before this summer lol since I probably won't be familiar with more than like 3 bands. What was ya'lls consensus on Moose Blood again?
