Wait, are you trying to say you believe Slipknot makes 4 million per show? If so, I'm done responding.
What about Hey Violet? They are doing their first headlining tour which ends 3/24. They are also on the cover of the newest Alt Press.
That's too bad. They seem like a perfect band for Warped Tour. I guess when you're backed by 5SOS you can probably do your own thing.
I didn't know the girls in Hey Violet used to be in Cherri Bomb. Cherri Bomb played the Kevin Says Stage in 2012.
That's how i knew about hey violet. lol i haven't seen them since warped until last year and the girls remembered me
I could see any of these as a surprise day of guest: -Five Finger Death Punch (signed to Rise, a good handful of metalcore bands like them) -Blink-182 (everyone would lose their shit) -Deftones and/or Rise Against (depends on the routing of that tour) -Paramore (Hayley went for a day last year, Josh just rejoined the band, would be a great way to promote the new album, and again everyone would lose their shit) -Avenged Sevenfold (people in that scene still dig them) -Korn (a lot of metalcore/deathcore bands take influence from them)
i know for a fact they and SOAD make those amounts of money. Shoot off an email to 5b (slipknot management) and they'll confirm. Obviously it fluctuates due to back door deals and such but that's around their standard last I heard from people at 5b
So true I bet this year is a bunch of bands/rappers/pop artists we haven't even named on here or a bunch of surprises
I can't even think of anymore Bands/Artists that's big enough for main stage but small enough for Warped. Since it seems like Journey's and Monster's stages are where we're largely weak at.
Who are some of the other main stage level bands who we know aren't playing? PVRIS Miss May I We Came As Romans The Wonder Years
we're some of the monster bands from last year ruled out? I know kevin said the Monster stages last year would act as Main Stages for the heavier bands.. atleast thats what I think I read.. Motionless in White comes to mind.. they had decent crowds last year right? Norma Jean, Phinehas come to my mind for smaller Monster bands like Gideon was last year.
And some of the bigger bands that are most likely playing? Neck Deep Blessthefall Memphis May Fire Beartooth Attila
Thoughts on any of these bands potentially playing: -Bring Me The Horizon -The Acacia Strain -Set Your Goals -letlive. -Kublai Khan -Circa Survive -Title Fight
I agree. So many bands great older bands like Sum 41, Good Charlotte, and Yellowcard, but so many Warped staples like Mayday Parade, Falling In Reverse, and Sleeping With Sirens. It just doesn't seem like there are too many options for 2017.
