how about Asking Alexandria? I haven't seen much talk of them in here lately. They haven't announced any summer shows yet as far as I know.
Now that Danny is back in the band I think it's less likely. He was always the one opposed to doing it.
I've seen Hawthorne Heights on a lot of peoples guess lists. Any hints they've thrown out that they might be on the tour? Out of the loop!
They're doing that acoustic tour with Secondhand Serenade until March but nothing else has been announced. Warped would be a great option before going out on another anniversary tour.
I think someone in here mentioned they asked JT about it, and he said they hadn't been asked, but would love to do it again.
Don't give them any ideas!!!! Hahaha I might be in the minority of wanting new music from them but they're really struggling to keep the band afloat.
A couple of the guys in OLN have said to me that they don't really want to do support slots or short sets because they don't want their fans to pay to see them only play a 30 minute set. That was like a year ago and I hope they changed their mind since then. I don't want them to be the next Alesana.
Honestly, I think it's mostly Trevor that's against all of these ideas. I remember another thread on here that said everyone in the band wants to play older songs except for Trevor. I get that he was like 12 when he recorded The Ghosts Among Us and his screams were great for a 12 year old. Then there was that time where he said there's going to be no more screaming in any of their songs. He really can't make his mind up. I'm pretty sure they'll be rotating on and off the main stage throughout the tour this year if they do decide to play.
I'd love to see new music from them so I'm excited. My biggest issue is that the majority of their live show is old songs with 1 new song randomly thrown in before Ohio.
Unlikely in my thoughts. I love them but it's not a matter of that they're too heavy, its just they seem like one of those bands that just wouldn't want to do Warped.
That guy in the other thread was also me haha. I've seen them quite a few times and the guys are always super cool to me. They tried to get Trevor to play Elephants for at one of the shows I went to since I had seen them like 10 times in a 15 month time frame but he wasn't "prepared" they said. Oh well, maybe if they do a 15 year show I'll go to that to hear a couple old songs.
When I met them on their last tour, Trevor seemed VERY open to playing the ghosts among us, he made a comment saying they would do an anniversary tour/throwback tour
I'll believe it when I see it and I REALLY want to see it! I only got to see Symptoms live once about 10 years ago. I'm overdue haha
I'm a insane person and read whole thread. Commenting on bands I care about. Someone brought up walls of jericho, they in europe during warped time. Stick to your guns are doing warped. I don't know if it's only part or whole tour. Icon for hire is doing warped person who blabbed didn't say part or whole tour. Other bands I care about but don't know status but were brought up. Oathbreaker, wish but they aiming for different crowd. :( boo marmozets didn't like doing warped, I really wanna see them again. Conquer divide would be sweet but don't think they'll have new music to tour for out. Would love to see courage my love just hope there set is mostly old songs, the new stuff disapoints me pretty reckless since they doing all them radio shows, no it be awesome if they played though. Same with in this moment. Cool new year's day is playing warped but I'm tired of seeing them do 30 minute sets. More metal on warped would be awesome. The ammount of metal band shirts I saw in 2015 the last year I went was huge. All the shirts were for really heavy stuff like behemoth and cannibal corpse. Since they doing all them radio fest don't think they could do this year but think the charm the fury could get shot on us warped? They just signed to nuclear blast.
Brian Logan Dales from The Summer Set says they aren't playing Warped, they were on a few people's lists.
No WCAR and no TSS. So many of my favorite bands played last year. AS IT IS, Forever Came Calling, Hawthorne Heights, Hit the Lights, Patent Pending, Senses Fail, Silverstein, and Taking Back Sunday are about the only possible bands that I would want to see.
WoJ will most likely never do warped, they've mentioned several times they have no desire to be a full time band again and or longer tours. STYG is on the whole tour! Conquer Divide is NOT doing warped, they've only done 3(?) tours in the bands life time so I dont think artery wanted to push them.
