These were bands on my list that have already been announced for other festivals this summer. Code Orange - Chicago Open Air, Rock USA Miss May I - Rock USA Suicide Silence - Rock USA We Came As Romans - Rock USA
I had both WCAR and MMI on my list. Code Orange would never do anything like Warped, sadly. I'm now wondering if Thy Art Is Murder is gonna be on Warped since CJ returned to the band this past weekend. I know something was said about them a while back.
They've been rumored in the past and with Mayhem gone and with CJ back I could definitely see them on Warped. I personally would love it. I saw them last year on Parkway's tour and they killed it.
I saw them on Mayhem with CJ and it was awesome. Met them too. Only complaint is they didn't play Whore To A Chainsaw. I think Warped would be a good bounceback for them.
Ive said it before somewhere on here. They've actively said that's not a tour they'd ever be interested in doing. Who knows though
I knew they had been mentioned before. I was almost sure I read somewhere CJ saying they'd do the tour if they were ever asked.
They've been asked before from my understanding. Cj was probably the most adamant member who was against it. I swear the interview was online but it may have been someone on the old fourm saying they asked them and that was what they got out
what a the odds of waterparks being on again? i thought i heard somewhere that they weren't too interested but with the release of that album it doesn't seem too far off...
Give it a year or two. They don't have much to gain from it right now. They'd still be playing the Posideon/Cyclops stage equivalent and drawing the same crowds as last year. Let them land some of the right tours and they could be a lower tier main stage band.
Since Papa Roach has not been named on any of these Hard Rock Festivals I would bet on them finally doing Warped like they;ve wanted to.
Papa Roach is playing Welcome to Rockville, Carolina Rebellion, and Rock On The Range this year so that's all the way into mid May. They could play select dates on the back half though.
as did I, but they haven't properly headlined a tour since 2012.. that's 4 years, they've put out 2 albums & are working on a 3rd.. it's about time they do a headliner & as mentioned in the tour forum, that's what they have planned. i'm sure with it being a "summer" tour, it'll do pretty well. they also didn't play the tour in 2013/2014. they'll return '18 for sure!
Is letlive. doing anything this summer? From what I can see they aren't doing anything in the states this spring - makes me think they might be on.

I would say a few things stick out but the rest seems fairly possible: UABB I thought said they were only doing metal/hard rock tours and festivals from now on YMAS basically said they are done in this genre when people questioned their new album, which sucks btw. WCAR - same thing as UABB I think. They keep touting how heavy the new record is and they also said the last Warped didnt have all the steam as expected.
