I mean I feel like realistically it probably comes down to asking price and negotiations for stage placement and other things. I heard a rumor from a long time ago that Alesana refuses to go on Warped Tour again because Warped won't give them a main stage spot, as they are right in doing so since it's not 2008 anymore and Alesana's draw is non existent.
Oh really? I couldn't stand it, none of my friends who like the band liked it and my twitter feed was just bashing it when it came out.
They have a lot left to announce, but last year this fest had a lot of Warped bands (New Found Glory, Yellowcard, Mayday Parade, The Story So Far, Four Year Strong, Every Time I Die, Issues, Roam, Real Friends, Young Guns, Coldrain) so it's definitely worth keeping an eye on. So far, I could see Enter Shikari, Don Broco, Bowling For Soup, Beartooth, Against Me!, Goldfinger, CIWWAF, and Trophy Eyes playing.
Yeah, they are definitely the biggest stretch I mentioned. Goldfinger did a few dates in 2013 so they're definitely not out of the question.
They won't open tours, and constantly take out small lesser know bands with a small guarantee. Definitely a bunch of head cases. I know for a fact they have been offered countless opening spots that they turn down.

Escape the Fate, A Skylit Drive EDIT: Someone in here also said The Summer Set was doing a full run I think?
I believe it. They really think they're the biggest band around and they take out Revival Records bands and friends. There's hardly any outsiders.
