I wish Kevin would pay Bad Luck 13 a couple hundred dollars to close out Warped Tour on 1 or 2 dates.
This article makes it sounds like it's not a given The Ghost Inside will play Warped Tour 2017. The Members of The Ghost Inside are Together Again | MetalSucks It’s now been 14 months since The Ghost Inside’s horrific bus accident. Their pledge to play on Warped Tour 2017 is now looming, no longer the abstract date far into the future it once was: will they be able to do it? Only the band members themselves know whether they feel they’ll be physically ready to perform night in and night out in six months time, but if they aren’t their fans will of course be quite understanding. And there’s always Warped Tour 2018.
The more I think about it, I don't think it's very likely that they go from not touring for 1.5 years to doing a full run on Warped. When they were the first band announced for 2017, I thought they'd make a triumphant return and they wouldn't miss a beat but that just doesn't seem very likely.
The reality is that TGI never said they would do it. Lyman was the one who said that, and he only went so far as to say they had a spot if they wanted it. I think TGI still need some time to figure it all out. I heard that they had plans to hit the studio before playing any shows, and to have some new material reflecting exactly what they went through.
Jess from The Summer Set was on Facebook Live. I asked "Warped Tour full run?" and she replied with something like Warped Tour does a full run every year, so yes. I assume she was dodging the question and that they are doing a full run!
And someone posted in the comments that From Ashes To New announced that they are doing Warped again. I doubt it though.
I do not think Im going this year. One daughter will be at camp, and one will be going with her boyfriend. Even when Im free, I just can't fathom taking a day off for this :/ Its come. The day has come.
Any idea what? If they aren't playing, it's going to be hard to get my buddy to come out this year. Hopefully Bowling For Soup plays.
Oh shit, they played UNH? I graduated from there in 2011. They had a lot of great shows while I was there. Vinnie Caruana, Moving Mountains and The Dear Hunter, Make Do and Mend with Balance and Composure, and a few more. They booked The Wonder Years the year after I graduated.
Ghost Key signed to InVogue. They are also opening for Silent Planet. I wonder if they might play. Or maybe next year?
I've always heard conflicting reports as to who owns the German Club. I'm not sure what the true story is now but when I was there, it was owned by the person that lived in that house next to it. I heard they made a deal with UNH allowing them to use the space while UNH allowed the person to live in that house on campus. It's really an underrated venue and I'm sure the right promoter can book it well but the only public parking on that campus is at the football field and arena.
Carousel Kings announced a headlining tour that ends April 13th. They recently signed to Victory. I could see them playing.
