Story Of The Year, Hawthorne Heights, Norma Jean, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Anti-Flag, and Killswitch Engage all seem possible. I guess Hatebreed too since Jamey Jasta said they were considering doing it.
Obviously dependent on your definition of older bands: Bowling For Soup Hit The Lights I Killed The Prom Queen Killswitch Engage Set Your Goals Saves The Day Taking Back Sunday The Used Senses Fail The All American Rejects Tiger Army You Me At Six Papa Roach In This Moment Guttermouth Thrice All That Remains Andrew W.K. Bad Religion Descendants Social Distortion NOFX The Offspring Underoath Despised Icon 3OH!3 Angels & Airwaves Billy Talent Good Charlotte Helmet Jimmy Eat World Limp Bizkit Pepper Bullet For My Valentine Enter Shikari Silverstein Story Of The Year Saosin
Killswitch isn't doing Warped. Their coheadliner with Anthrax runs late in the spring. All of the others seem likely. I'd add Silverstein, Senses Fail and Bayside to that list. Maybe Taking Back Sunday too?
I went to the For Today show in Chicago on Thursday. I could see Norma Jean on the tour next year and Silent Planet too. Silent Planet did partial dates this year.
I asked Hawthorne height about warped and they told me they would love to do it if asked plus they will have new music next year I may think they might be on but what do I know
Bad Religion announced shows in Spain on 7/15 and Germany on 7/21. We can count them out. Not that was I really expecting them anyway.
Every year I think Helmet might come back for some dates, but tonight I just realized Page Hamilton is 56 years old. I had no clue he was that old. Then again, I remember him being pretty grey during their set in 06.
These bands all did partial dates in 2016. Which ones do you think will do full runs in 2017? I think The Summer Set, Volumes, Marina City, and Silent Planet will. American Authors Good Charlotte The Summer Set Waka Flocka Flame 3Oh!3 PVRIS Pepper Atreyu Bullet For My Valentine Volumes PROF Avion Roe Bad Seed Rising Beebs Capsize Hail The Sun Marina City More To Monroe Night Argent Silent Planet The New Low The Pink Slips
In addition to those four, I'd say Waka Flocka Flame, 3OH!3, PVRIS and Beebs seem mostly likely to come back for dates they didn't play last summer. I have a feeling PVRIS, Volumes and The Summer Set will play the full tour.
All jokes aside, they kind of would fit in/draw well... Plus they have enough hits for a 30ish minute set. It makes sense
I've seen them twice live and they're really good! What would make my year is if they do something with this guy:
Didn't Smashmouth demand a lot of money to play a birthday party or something? Edit: They wanted $50,000 to play a birthday party.
