I think Bryan is just catering to his fans (teenage scene kids). Certainly he's been around the scene long enough to know BMTH and ADTR are way too big for Warped Tour.

I thought Bryan Stars's career was over after he screwed his group over? Also, for the love of everyone listening to Lead Singer Syndrome, can we not book Silverstein and Beartooth on the same Warped Tour? If I have to hear "Silvertooth, what WHAT?!?" again, I'm going to lose it haha
That'll be the day I stop listening to that podcast haha. I'm already one foot out but I have to keep listening. Certain new things my podcast does, happens on Shane's show the following week. For example, after an interview I do, I ask the guest which song we should play out and then fade into that song. The following week, instead of recording his outro, he faded into his guest's songs. I'm not sure if it's coincidence but he knows about my show (we had an email conversation where I included my links). I just have to come up with something incredibly ridiculous to do one week and see if my suspicions are correct haha
I'll do something like a song premier at the end of the episode of a local band and call it Local Spotlight. Let's see if he premiers one of his friend's songs and call it "Lead Singer Spotlight" or something like that. Don't get me wrong, I'm flattered if this turns out to be true. It means I'm doing something right I guess!
No way BMTH plays Warped. That would be a huge step back in the opposite direction that they're trying to go.
You should call the hate-line bro! Apparently he gets a lot of it but not enough to actually play a single call on an episode.
i really hope the used, story of the year, hawthorne heights, senses fail, papa roach and silverstein play next year dount they all will but hey i can dream lol
Attila / New Years Day / Bad Omens / Cane Hill tour is routed in B-C markets and ends March 12th. I have a feeling most of them will play Warped.
I really liked the podcast in the beginning but kind of fallen off the podcast train in general, how bad did it get?
The guests are good but Shane keeps pushing his own life into things. The Anthony Raneri situation kinda annoyed me where he kept interjecting him breaking up with his gf of 6 months or so to Anthony who had a mess of problems.
I'm still a pretty big fan of LSS and rarely miss an episode. I definitely see what you mean about Shane pushing his own story more and more though. I try to not let it bother because truthfully, that's what a normal conversation would be like.
No one said it was bad, it's just very douchey at times. Obviously he's not a radio host but his concept his great, his speaking voice is great but his interjections need work.
Matty Mullins from Memphis May Fire just retweeted a guy hoping they're on and doing artist workshops.

What older bands do we think might return to Warped in 2017? Last year we got bands like Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine, Good Charlotte, Sum 41, etc. Story of the Year? Norma Jean? The Starting Line? Saosin?
