Kevin responded to people to Twitter earlier and said there's a hold up because of trouble confirming dates/venues and he hopes to announce them ASAP. So the "before Thanksgiving" thing he told me might not happen now.
So with the Pistons moving to downtown Detroit and the Palace going up for sale I wonder where the Detroit date is gonna be after 2017? Back to Comerica park?
Ugh, that is so disappointing. I loved having the tour at the Palace - moreso, having it at Auburn Hills.
I've been to Chicago the last 2 years because of work but loved the Palace when I went. Cant beat that air conditioned shade inside the arena!
Huh, I'm curious as to how that would work at the Crofoot. Would it be all in the parking lot, or would they incorporate the venues in some way, because I feel like that would get so congested and difficult to get from stage to stage, or how they'd be able to make that work. I'm definitely interested in that though, I always love going to the Crofoot.
Who you guys think will be the oddball bands this year? I'm hoping either Modern Baseball or The Front Bottoms play.
Well the Palace is open through this coming summer, but the Phoenix Amplitheater is part of the Crofoot as well as the three venues there as well. I definitely think it will work if this is the course for the future.
That would be nice. I've never been fully let down by a Warped lineup, but the Punk kid in me likes there to be at least one 90s Warped style Punk or Ska band on the tour every year. The Flatliners would be a great way to meet that quota.

The only bands who did ROTR and Warped in 2016 were Crown The Empire, Cane Hill, and Bullet For My Valentine. In 2015 the only one was Beartooth. So either there's a lot more than usual this time or most people's Warped predictions are way off. Although I wouldn't be surprised if ROTR had to rely on Warped bands this year after booking Metallica. Their guarantee has to be insane.
It's looking like The Devil Wears Prada and The Bouncing Souls will be in Europe in mid-June. I'd count them out for at least the first half.
I think I remember Mike mentioning they had plans other than Warped for the summer when he was on Lead Singer Syndrome.
