Just got Portland tickets! They came out to $37 total. Super stoked, but it's at a different venue this year so hopefully it turns out aright.
I hope warped works out well for alestorm. Even though personally I'm burned out of seeing them live. If they do well it could open the door for nore melodic metal genres to get on warped.
I haven't seen them live yet. But from watching some live videos it doesn't seem so. Occasionally pirate hats it seems. As long as he plays the keytar it doesn't matter to me.
Wow, early bird pricing already went away for VA Beach and Charlotte. Oh well. I bet Ticketmaster will do that $15 off coupon for "Summer Concert Cash" again and I can go for less than that early bird price anyway.

ok... so if parents can go free again (Im assuming yes), then perhaps I buy a ticket for 1 (other daughter will be in camp), and we go (a free show for me). The parking is fine. If I find out theres actually a band I like (that Alestorm is <NOT> going to be one of them, nor will Gwar be one).... Bad Religion I'd see, but I dont know anyone else.
No - unfortunately we are no longer offering the FREE Parent Ticket. Over 21 years the Warped Tour audience has always been for the counter culture teenager. As our audience grew up and changed and as new fans came to the shows, we've worked hard to adjust with them and continue to keep the tour relevant. In 2015 and 2016, we tested implementing a "Parent Get's In For Free" program that allowed (1) parent to be admitted to the show for Free if they were bringing a child that had a paid ticket. Unfortunately in 2017 and moving forward, the tour is "going back to our roots" and with the booking of a more balanced lineup including many legacy acts, we are no longer offering the FREE Parent Ticket. However, any parents who buys a ticket will still be able to come to our Reverse Daycare Tent where they can hang out, watch TV, and keep an eye on their child.
What I was going to say. This ticket was cheaper than the all time low ticket I got and it's an entire day's worth of bands.
Are you solely going to accompany your kid, I assume? If so, hopefully some bands get announced you like or your kid is old enough so you don't have to snag a ticket for yourself. If not, at least it's not super expensive.
