I'm curious to see what other bands get announced on Wednesday. I wish the leaked date wasn't close to Chicago so that I could get excited about other bands getting announced for Chicago.
This is the list of bands I am interested in period. They are all different degrees of interest but i could see myself seeing any of the ones that are on the list below. Thats 41 bands I could see myself going to see and enjoying. The strongest stage period is full sail for me could see myself staying there literally all day almost. Idk what Farewell Winters is or sounds like though so that may be the exception. Full sail left blows, Full sail right is pretty good. Monster stages are a mix between fantastic bands and terrible bands. It seems the best are the two side stages and full sail. Journey’s Left Foot Stage: Futuristic I Prevail Journey’s Right Foot Stage: American Authors Beartooth Dance Gavin Dance Hands Like Houses Memphis May Fire Our Last Night Monster Mutant North Stage: Being As An Ocean Counterparts Fit For A King Stick To Your Guns Monster Mutant South Stage: After The Burial Bless The Fall Carnifex Gwar Sworn In Too Close To Touch Skullcandy Stage: Alestorm Microwave Stacked Like Pancakes War On Women The White Noise William Control Hard Rock Stage: The Adolescents Anti Flag The Ataris Fire From The Gods Municipal Waste Valient Thorr Full Sail Stage: Bad Omens Boston Manor Courage My Love Creeper Farewell Winters? Feeki The Gospel Youth Knocked Loose Movements Separations Trophy Eyes
Oderus (the guy that does a majority of the talking) sadly passed away, but this is one of my favorite videos on YouTube.
Im rather surprised and dissapointed that it seems not many people are familiar with the older acts like Suicide Machines, Save Ferris, The Adolescents, etc.
I think I've heard one song by The Adolescents, The Ataris famous cover, Anti-flag's entire discography, and never heard a single song by the remaining older bands.
So now that we know what I presume is 95 percent of the lineup, do we have a guess at who will be performing at the lineup announcement show?
Memphis May Fire for sure. There are so many small bands it's hard to know where they will all be on Wednesday.
hoping/assuming that there are some great bands on limited runs like last year (Atreyu in Minneapolis). Reeeeeeeeeally wanted to see Parkway Drive on there! Fingers crossed! ETF too
I feel like beyond checking out Anti-flag there's no reason for me to move beyond Monster stages, and Journey's Right. I might make an indent in the ground from lack of movement. Or my right knee will give out, either one will happen.
I dont know what to say. Reminds me almost of Dee Snider and twister Sister going up against Tipper Gore, but then again - this <is> Jerry Springer.....
I honestly could see Andy playing co-host this year too, in the same way that the guys in 3OH!3 did last year.
