i feel the monster stages will draw most out of the stages both stages are beyond stacked and adding bands like fire from the gods, bad omens, I prevail and knocked loose on other stages kevin really booked well with heavy acts
People seem to dislike this lineup but its my favorite since 2009. My priorites so far 1 suicide machines 2 the adolescents 3 sick of it all 4 anti flag 5 save ferris 6 gwar 7 silverstein 8 the ataris And a ton more I would like to see
If this line up is true my priorities in no particular order are as follows I prevail American authors Beartooth Dance Gavin dance Hands like houses Being as an ocean Fit for a king Antiflag Municipal waste Runner ups that could easily get on priority list if any of the above are not on my stop and or if I have extra time are in no particular order The Acadia strain Futuristic alestorm Sworn in Microwave Stacked like pancakes War on women Adolescents The ataris Fire from the gods Feeki Seperations
There were like 5 or 10 I forgot on my above post. Basically I will be at all stages except side stages. Won't be on then much of the day
The weird thing about this lineup is that it appeals to the old and young crowds but does not do much for those in the middle age range like last year. But that makes sense because that is all that last year was targeted towards.
Actually I just realized that Hard Rock will be held in the ampitheatre which has a tiny floor with no room to move (Mountain View, CA)... Bands like Sick Of It All, Municipal Waste, Alestorm probably wont have as much movement as their shows usually would because of confined space...
Lineup not as good as I thought it would be, i'll wait for it to officially come out before judging it compared to other years and stuff. But I don't understand some of the placements for stages, so many small bands on the main stages that I don't see drawing well. I'm sure those points have been brought up but I don't feel like going back and reading through everything.
I like how Neck Deep is the odd band out over there. "We're gonna just put on a stage with five heavier bands despite the fact you're as pop punk as pop punk can get. Have fun!" I know you're supposed to upgrade from Full Sail and all, but it'll literally make more sense for them to be on Full Sail with the few other Pop Punk/heavy crossover bands, since a decent amount of your crowd will be hanging over there anyway.
Well they definitely got the heavy bands right which I'm stoked on. Counterparts, STYG, Knocked Loose, and Hatebreed make the whole day worthwhile.
Well maybe even though it isn't the times of each set, maybe they are going back to like they did in 2015 where some smaller stage bands like side stage and monster stage will get to open main stage every now and then and jule Vera is actually a side stage and who is opening main on that date. Also we are assuming that full sail is the small stage this year because it was last year but is there in chance that that will actually be the side stage and either skull candy or rockstar will be the small stage? I only ask because I truly do not know most the bands on the side stages aside from anti-flag and the ataris so idk the bands popularity on those stages
The stage placement on the leaked lineup is kinda baffling. In what world is Jule Vera mainstage over Silverstein? They should move BTF and Silverstein over in my opinion.
And they may. Bands tend to get upgraded to higher stages over the course of the tour (Depending on certain bands doing select dates that may fill up the main stages in the mean time)
Personally, I think this is the best lineup since 2005 or 2009. It won't sell well, though. But I see 15+ bands I'm definitely very into seeing.
If that's the July 19th lineup, I'm scared to know what the West Coast lineup will be. "We're just throwing a band with a 1,000 likes on facebook on the main stage since a few bands are missing that first week."
