This got announced in like November. I only remember because it kinda bothered me that they announced an album like 7 months out. Edit: December, post is stickied to the top of their Facebook.
Hahaha, that's what I'm saying. Hell, this has been news for four months and I JUST found out about it!
This big pop punk band break up rumor is freaking me out because I literally can't think of anyone it could be??? Maybe Taking Back Sunday? but they're not really pop punk and they're not a newer band. Someone leak this already.
The Wonder Years announced on the 1st of the year they were writing a new record, so I doubt it's them.
I'm kinda glad I don't like this lineup tbh. I didn't really want to go to Warped this year, but I knew I would if the lineup was good enough. I've either seen the bands I'd want to see multiple times or I don't want to see them enough to warrant the price. Have fun though if this is up your alley!
Okay it can't be TBS since their summer tour got leaked, thank god, but now I really have no clue who it could be. On the topic of Warped though, this is a bad lineup. I'm legit excited about four bands, and would maybe be interested to watch like five more. Compare that to the last four years when I wanted to see 12+ bands. Great year for heavy and punk fans, though.
Ima thinking its gonna be FYS sadly (even though they played main stage all last year) they are all about 30, have families, and besides this RODT tour their shows haven't been selling that well since they took a break in 2013
Like....I really don't want to go this year....but there are just so many bands on this that I've never seen before that I've been DYING to see forever. I'm kind of mad at how weirdly appealing this lineup is.
Also didn't someone confirm WCAR was on? There must be some partial bands but even WCAR really isn't that big.
One good thing I can say is there seems to be a lot more women on the tour than usual. NYD, Jule Vera, War on Women, Courage My Love, Creeper, maybe some of those ska bands I've never listened to. That's cool.
This lineup is from around where the bands switch for second leg. So, there's a handful of bands missing.
There's a few bands that have been confirmed in a few places that weren't on the leak, so they must be partial date bands or not on: T.S.O.L. Palisades She Must Burn Cane Hill We Came As Romans Bowling For Soup
This is my priority list, assuming all of these bands play Detroit two days later. 1. Save Ferris 2. GWAR 3. Silverstein 4. The Ataris 5. Suicide Machines 6. CKY 7. Hatebreed 8. Beartooth 9. The Adolescents 10. Municipal Waste 11. The Acacia Strain 12. Attila 13. Knocked Loose 14. Microwave 15. American Authors
Definitely a weird lineup, but it's not awful. Lots of bands I'd check out, but only a few must sees for me. Hoping the NW gets a few good bands not on here since we won't get Hatebreed and I assume there might be quite a few bands playing partial dates. Only must sees I have are Silverstein, Neck Deep, Anti Flag, Hawthorne Heights, The Ataris and Stick To Your Guns. After that there's about 15 bands I'd be interested in checking out. Main stages are definitely lacking, but the Hardrock stage and Hatebreed/GWAR even out the lineup a bit.
Half of me wants to see Gwar if they're on the first few dates, the other half of me doesn't want to carry around shit to cover my clothes for their set or get my clothes ruined. Maybe I could just watch their set from the back.
