Dashboard is doing a radio show in Buffalo in June and a festival in Canada at the end of July.

 

Well there's always exceptions to the rule. Main Stage is thin this year. And honestly, I, Prevail is bigger than Knocked Loose will ever be. I Prevail's top 3 youtube vids have 31m, 10m, and 8m. Knocked Loose top 3 are 409k, 303k, and 288k. FB likes are 940k vs. 60k. I Prevail have over a million monthly listeners on spotify. Knocked loose has only 69k. Plus, I Prevail will sell tickets. Knocked Loose will not sell tickets in the same way.

I Prevail won't do anything stupid to compromise their fanbase they curated from Taylor Swift fans. Knocked Loose on the other hand... who knows what they'll do. From a management perspective, I Prevail's risk vs. reward for a main stage slot heavily leans towards reward. Knocked Loose fans will come out regardless of stage placement, and you know their set will be bonkers. The risk vs. reward for bumping them to monster isn't worth it.

Cmon guys, lets be real. Lyman would be stupid to not put I Prevail on main in a down year where ticket sales are suffering, with a thin main stage. Knocked Loose will not sell the same, nor would they fit into an already overpacked Monster stage.

And, as I said before, this is Lyman's kingdom, and he breaks the rules he created if he wants to.

Heavy music does absolutely nothing for me so I'm worried about the lineup. Hopefully someone posts the full lineup so I can determine whether or not to buy the early bird tickets

 

Thats actually a very sound argument. Of course Sylar better be on Full sail if Knocked Loose is on full sail because they are both first years and sylar is way worse then Knocked Loose in my opinion. Id be rather pissed if Sylar got a monster stage placement over knocked loose.

 

Only other band that played main stage their first year that comes to mind is Asking Alexandria.
