Today is Good Charlotte's final day on the tour. So glad I was finally able to see them twice this summer.
Cannot ever come up with a whole list of predictions for stage by stage for next year; but here is who I'd like to see You Me At Six Hands Like Houses I Prevail Escape The Fate New Years Day All American Rejects Beartooth The Struts Nothing More
I was thinking about the struts after listening to some of palaye royale lol. May just be the similar look. If they played they would probably be my top band. Just don't know how they would draw on warped.
In case this hasn't been mentioned, the reason Dash Ten had to drop off the tour is because the U.S. Army, which I assume was their main sponsor, pulled them from the tour for reasons that haven't been revealed.
I bet Creeper is on the tour next year. They just did their first U.S. headliner and they'll be opening for Tiger Army coming up.
I also wouldn't be surprised if Moose Blood plays again especially if they open for The Wonder Years in the fall.
on Journeys twitter page, they are posting the set times the day of warped for both the left and right foot stages
The Struts put on a hell of a live show. I think they would draw OK, they are blowing up radio scene which is much different but I think it's music anyone can enjoy.
YMAS I feel like has had a tough time really breaking in here in the States. I saw them on their last headliner in Boston and Paradise Rock Club was like half full and that was after they should have had momentum being on the PTV/ATL arena tour. They are too close in similarity I think to ATL which hurts them because they are not as poppy, which turns away younger fans. IMO
I am still not sure what their plans are going forward after this upcoming Mutiny! anniversary tour. I'd love to have them back at Warped.
I think the only bands too big for Warped Tour as this point are A Day To Remember, All Time Low, Bring Me The Horizon, and Of Mice & Men. I also think that The All-American Rejects, Black Veil Brides, Parkway Drive, Pierce the Veil, Simple Plan, and Taking Back Sunday are probably the biggest bands who could possibly play in 2017.
Of Mice & Men has more crossover appeal into hard rock/radio rock. They are currently opening up for Slipknot. When I saw them at Open Air they right before Ministry and Chevelle. I think they're a lot bigger than Pierce the Veil.
Crowds have been pretty empty for them on the Slipknot tour. At least at the date I was at and from various videos I have watched.
Telle from The Word Alive won't be performing at the Denver stop since he's flying home due to a death in the family. But he said there's gonna be special guests filling in for him. I can't wait to see who they have in store.
never thought about Parkway Drive, that would be awesome. A big meh and a skip for the rest for me though
The Monster Stages have potential to be pretty good next year. Beartooth, TDWP, Parkway Drive, Crossfaith, Blessthefall, Stray From The Path, and Stick To Your Guns would make me very happy.
Hopefully you do. I remember my first warped in 2013 I wanted to meet Amanda who did the blogs, but she was sick on my date, so I didn't see her. From when I passed Torrie she seemed like a sweet girl, she was talking to a fan for the blog then waved at me and my friend and smiled as she passed. If you do meet her, I am sure she would be kind enough to stop.
