Yeah, I think Kevin once said on Twitter that he likes to have most of the lineup solidified by Halloween or so.
If the survey was up now, which five would you guys list. I have some I would want to see but feel like they will be on so I wouldn't need to list them:Mainly Beartooth. My survey 5 would be 1.MC Lars 2.Say Anything 3.Aquabats 4.MXPX 5.LIGHTS
I've got a few questions about Warped I'm hoping someone here could help with. First, it seems kinda obvious but is the main stage Journeys left foot stage? I don't see anything actually labeled as MAIN. I'm going this Thursday in Bonner Springs, and I haven't been to Warped since 1998. It's at an amphitheater so I'm basically trying to figure out what stage(s) might be under the overhead and not directly in the heat. Secondly, I was lucky enough to get some "all access" passes for my group, and I'm wondering what all at Warped that covers? Any idea? At a venue that's easy to figure out, but with Warped being huge, outside, all sorts of stages, I'm not really sure what to expect. Thanks for any help!
There are two main stages (Journey's Left Foot and Journey's Right Foot). At my date these main stages were outside in the parking lot. The Cyclops and Poseidon stages were inside the amphitheater. I'm not sure about the all access passes. I have never heard of those before.
at 11:30 was In Hearts Wake. I'd never heard them before and they were good. I left a little early so I could find Too Close to Touch, they were enjoyable but it was a small and energy-less crowd. Afterward I saw Oceans Ate Alaska, Ice Nine Kills, Secrets was decent though I think I liked their old vocalist better. I watched the last half of Vanna while waiting for Crown the Empire, who were probably my favorite of the day. They had a great crowd. I saw the first and last song of Gideon who I should have just stayed and watched but instead went over to 3OH!3. Then The Word Alive, half of Young Guns and Coldrain. Wage War was pretty fun, their vocalist can definitely scream. I finished off the day with I See Stars, Motionless in White and Emarosa. I definitely want to see Emarosa at a club show, Bradley Whalen had tons of energy and did crazy shit that even shocked the rest of his band. When I saw them with Jonny Craig they didn't really seem like they were having any fun, but with Tillian Pearson and Whalen they were pretty great. I left early because I had no energy left and was feeling like I got a lot of sunburn. I would have seen The Color Morale, Mayday Parade, and Issues.
I know at my date I have been going 4 years, main stages were outside for three, but in the amphitheater this year, which was probably due to bad weather in the forecast
Anyone know if Reel Big Fish or Less Than Jake had any vinyl? So i can skank in my living room when the time strikes...
Also my five would be The Black Dahlia Murder Streetlight Manifesto The Fall of Troy This Town Needs Guns Anamanaguchi
Less Than Jake had just about every one of their records on vinyl for sale. I am not sure about Reel Big Fish.
I know I See Stars get a lot of crap but they were a lot of fun yesterday and their new album is pretty good. I feel like its what Palisades wish they were. Andrew Oliver had a ton of energy as their keys/synth/production guy. I didn't even realize it was him at first.
It's weird to me that they receive so much hate. Recently, it seems like they were almost forgotten on the internet completely. I hope they end up getting recognition for their new album, it's so much better than their contemporaries' latest releases.
My Warped Tour date is not until August 6th in Mountain View, I was wondering if anyone knows if Tori the warped pit reporter is doing any meet and greets at Warped?
