Who do you guys think which bands from this year are coming back next year? My bets are on Cane Hill, Old Wounds, and Silent Planet on either Monster stage. Also Broadside, With Confidence, and Hail the Sun on either Poseidon or Cyclops stages.
I could see Capsize coming back for Monster depending on the size of the crowd. Palaye Royale on Cyclops or Poseidon, definetly Broadside. Maybe Dash/Ten since the army has sponsored a band I think the last 3 or 4 years.
I work until 8am the day of my Warped date.....how soon does the day's lineup leak? If I can get some ETID in the first half, I will probably go.
we brought cans to mansfield for early admission bands.... the line was still <WICKED> long to get it... we didnt get there til 10 or so though anyways but it was way deep....
Teenage Bottlerocket had some weird banter about abortions in Wantagh that really turned everyone off. Something a long the lines of "Raise your hand if you've had an abortion! Raise your hands if you haven't! Give it up for abortions! I have two sons, and have also had two abortions!" Enter song.
I can't talk for Atreyu or Bullet (although I really enjoy both, never saw either live) but Motionless: love them or hate them, they put on one of the best shows. Especially this year on Warped, they've been killing it.
I would definitely check out Bullet For My Valentine just for the fact that they are only doing 3 dates. I think they are also probably the biggest band playing on the tour this year.
Just got word that my girlfriend will be flying in for the weekend so she can go to warped! Even more stoked for next Saturday now!
Dash Ten just announced they are dropping off the rest of the tour "due to circumstances beyond our control" Did the free merch run out or something?
Friends and Fans, It is with heavy hearts that we must announce that, due to circumstances beyond our control, we cannot continue on Vans Warped Tour this summer. We appreciate everyone’s support, every face who came to see us, every person who spent 25 precious minutes of their time at Warped with us. We’re sad to say an early goodbye to our stage family - especially Mother Feather, Broadside, Silent Planet, Avion Roe, Reckless Serenade, and the incredible crew on the Full Sail Stage. If you were going to see us at Warped, go give them your attention. They are incredible people making amazing music. Be a part of their growing success! We appreciate the support and camaraderie of other Warped bands, including Against The Current, Teenage Bottlerocket, Assuming We Survive, New Found Glory (Jordan, I still want some ink!), and Less Than Jake. Go spend some time on these great people. Of course, the most thanks go to Kevin and his incredible team who have been so supportive in a difficult time, the crew who helped us set up the Army tent each morning, and every smiling face who makes Warped what it is everyday. If it weren’t for all of you, we wouldn’t be so sad to go. Have an incredible summer. We hope to be back out to see you all very soon. With love,Corrin, Steve, and PeteDash|Ten
Brandon Schieppati of Bleeding Through is on Warped with his company Rise Above Fitness helping the bands stay in shape.
