Going to Jones Beach tomorrow (well, today). Hoping the weather holds out - last thing I'd want to do is drive 2 hours to a show that could be rained out.
SWS are really hit or miss live. I saw them on Wednesday and they sounded pretty good, but when I saw them a couple of years ago, Kellin didn't hit a single note and the crowd was dreadful.
Also, those "monk" guys just tapped on my car window, opened my car door, and tried placing the books in my car while I was inside. No thanks.
Camden was great yesterday. Got to sit in the amphitheater for the last 4 bands at the end of the day which was nice because I was so exhausted. Overall, saw 14 bands, met 8 of them. Great day. Didn't really see any lackluster performances (although I walked in on SWS sounding meh, but I wasn't there to see them) . I'll be at Holmdel as well.
You are a calmer man than I. I would've beaten the shit out of them if someone I didn't know opened my car door without my permission and then tried to basically sell me something.
Got my tickets from Fearless yesterday. It's hard having to still wait over a month until my show. Also hard to hear about how awesome Sum 41 is from everyone since they aren't playing the last week of the tour :/
Ugh...State Champs and Wage War conflicting today is literally my worst nightmare. Really hope it's not like this on Saturday.
This actually happened to me in Scranton last year as well. We saw them walking down our row as we parked. So we tried waiting in the car until they passed. Nope, they came right up and tapped on the window until i finally opened it.
They get more crafty and annoying each year too. I remember getting one of their books in 2009 or 2010 and took it with me the next two years to pull the "I already got mine!" card. Well from 2013 until now they have a "new edition" every year so you can't pull that trick. No offense to anyone who is religious, but how in the world do you have an annual "new edition" of an ancient holy book?
Am I the only one that never really gets bothered by those people? I feel like maybe they can sense when you're more impressionable or something because I just give a look like I'm not interested and it usually works.
First warped since 2011 today in Long Island. I'm used to to st Pete and Orlando and shoreline California. I'm not impressed i don't know if it has changed or it's the date. How can u enjoy nfg or even yellowcard with hardcore dancers in the pit with u. Never seen this at club shows or past warped. And no alchol here. Well on the bright side I left sum 41 set at the end for the interrupters and they were the best band
