I would think performing. Also her boyfriend B.Lay is supposed to be with her it says. Wonder if its those two or the band performing.
I am looking at the Bamboozle lineups over the years. Unreal! Basically every band from this scene played every year. How did that work with Warped? It took play in early May so did the radius clause not come into play?
B.Lay is a close friend of Ronnie Radke's. I'm pretty sure he's on the full tour - didn't know he'd actually get a few dates to perform.
Maybe this year marks my return to Warped Tour after a year off? Maybe it doesn't. Happy to make a contribution to this thread.
So it looks like I'm going to have to drive down to the Hartford date this year. Has anyone ever been? I've been to Warped in Montreal, Toronto and Long Island and each has had a completely unique vibe to it.
American Authors has been added to some dates (Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas). I keep getting notifications on my phone about it.
Warped has done a great job this year keeping their website up to date. It's very easy to see which bands on playing which dates and which stage they will be on.
I've been going to Hartford every year since it started coming here in 2009. Everything is in the gravel parking lot, with 2 stages inside of the actual amphitheater and a pretty spacious pit area. There's virtually no shade (unless you're inside the amphitheater), and since the parking lot that the main part of the festival happens on is all gravel and dirt, when crowds get moving it makes a huge "dust bowl." It gets hard to see and breathe and you end up leaving the show really dirty. Plus, all of the dust and dirt usually makes me feel kind of sick about half way through, but that might just be me. I always take a picture of my dirt line every year (where my sock covered my ankle vs. where my skin was exposed) just as a gag. Also, the way that everything is laid out (such as the Merch tents) makes walking from one side of the festival to the other a process because it gets very clogged. It's not the best venue, but not the worst. There tends to be smaller crowds than the other dates I go to (MA) just because of the location. Just bring a lot of sunscreen, water, and maybe a towel for your car seat for the drive back.
American Authors has a song on Spotify with 170 million plays. I think they were on the Honda Civic Tour last year.
Thanks for the info! Back in 2009 before they changed the Montreal venue before getting rid of the date all together the venue was perfect, lots of shade and great layout. I'm used to the dust and mud everywhere though so that's nothing new. Definitely doesn't sound ideal but it will have to do. I'm literally driving in just for Warped so I have my eye on a hotel just up the road so I can avoid driving. What's the food/beer situation like? I've also never been to a Warped date with am amphitheater, should be interesting. Do the stick the main stages in there or whatever the Journey's stages are called this year? If you're going again this year it would be cool to catch a set or two together!
I usually go to both too, between the two new england dates im able to see everyone I want to see. Pretty different vibes at both. Crowds can be a little too much sometimes at Mansfield. I usually try to watch the bigger bands in Hartford because the crowds aren't as big
