Had this had been my date my day would have looked like (excluding bands I'd see if they were at my date to begin with): Ice Nine Kills- 11:30 Issues- 12:20 Whitechapel- 1:30 State Champs- 2:24 Real Friends- 3:26 Oceans Ate Alaska- 4:00 Wage War- 4:30 Chelsea Grin- 5:00 Knuckle Puck- 6:15 Motionless In White- 7:30 In Hearts Wake- 8:00 So 8/12 bands on my must see list and 3 on my want to see list. Enough time in between CG and KP or KP or MIW to get food/merch.
Fearless posted a sign today with their name and it obviously didn't have a set time but it had Poseidon stage under their name. Just curious
I posted some NFG merch in the Merch Thread So far, I just have one shirt, a backpack, and their book
Someone on tumblr said MIW played Reincarnate, Break The Cycle, 570, Abigail, Immaculate Misconception, Devil's Night. No way that's complete or in order, but there's something.
Not really. More often than not the cover band is from the previous year's tour but not playing the current one
It's weird, as someone who got into this scene because of metalcore, there just aren't that many bands that have come along since say - 2012/2013 that seem poised to take over the genre. The three biggest since they have been Issues, Beartooth, and Crown the Empire, the former two gaining notoriety from previous bands from that 2008 era metalcore. Hoping to see bands like Oceans Ate Alaska and Wage War get bigger and gain a main stage level draw. OAA's LP was recorded around winter 2013 if I'm not mistaken but wasn't released until last February. I'd love to see what they have to put out now, I was really expecting another album in time for at least a warped single. Wage War's LP was a bit of a letdown (I preordered on Vinyl) but they definitely have room to grow. I can't see many other up and coming bands take over that genre just yet. Not in the way the pop punk/emo scene has a new wave of headliners arising (Neck Deep, State Champs, Knuckle Puck, Real Friends, Creeper, Moose Blood, I would even argue bands like Set It Off, Waterparks, and With Confidence. That was longer than I expected it to be.
So I am missing sets for Assuming We Survive Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! The Color Morale I See Stars Like Pacific The Word Alive
Searching for sets from I See Stars Motionless In White Vanna With Confidence a few more too, but these are the important ones.
Fit For A King is already teasing at doing Warped Tour 2017. Could definitely see them being a huge draw in 2017.
Vanna has a video on their Facebook of 19 minutes of their set. I'm not too sure with new song titles yet, but they played Toxic Pretender (opener) Holy Hell 2 new songs The Beautiful People (cover) I'm assuming they played 2-3 more after the video ended. I'll be very disappointed if there are no pre-Void songs at all
Based off of videos so far, ISS played Break, Ten thousand Feet, and Mobbin Out. I'm anxiously waiting for the rest of their set.
