Hopefully Set it Off will play at least one old song this year. Last year was all Duality. It's a great album but the older stuff is good too
If they land a tour with Fall Out Boy then game over. I for one completely welcome a mainstream Set It Off
One or two deep cuts from Cinematics would be amazing, so glad they're playing Wolf In Sheep's Clothing!
I'll be at the San Diego and Pomona Dates! After moving across the country, I'm ready to see how these California dates throw down.
Just finished watching the pop punk combo of The Story So Far/New Found Glory/State Champs. TSSF sounded okay, lead singer still isnt that strong live. Crowd response was acceptable. I think I missed a song in the set but this is what I got Heavy Gloom Empty Space Quicksand Solo All Wrong Bad Luck? ? The Glass Roam I'm shocked at no High Regard or Nerve but that may have been the song I missed. New Found Glory kicked ass. Jordan and Chad clearly are still kings of stage presence but their crowd was dismal in terms of reaction. Maybe its just really fucking hot in Dallas today but the crowd have been weak. I'd imagine this set changes a bit. Understatement Selfless All Downhill From Here Hit Or Miss Ready And Willing Failure's Not Flattering Vicious Love My Friends Over You State Champs sounded very good. They are definitely going to continue to get bigger. Shape Up Elevated Perfect Score Simple Existence All You Are Is History Remedy Losing Myself Secrets Surprised they didnt close with Elevated but Secrets is a good choice. Hoping they drop something like Perfect Scote or Losing Myself for Easy Enough but I feel like this set will be put in stone for the summer.
I wouldn't mind mainstream Set It Off as much if the lyrics didn't take such a dive on the last album. I still enjoyed it for the most part, but sheesh... Also hoping for at least a couple older songs.
Looking at today's schedule and seeing all the conflicts gives me actual anxiety. Real Friends & ETID at the same time. Boii
Haven't really cared about Set It Off as much since their first album which I loved and they don't really play anything from it anymore.
