I was thinking that but it seems like that’s too big of a character to bring in and it would over shadow Wanda, but I’d be sooooo down.
What if the cameo with the gravitas of Luke Skywalker is aerospace engineer Reed Richards played by John Krasinkski? (“Mr. Fantastic will return in Fantastic Four”...)
I can’t stop thinking about the paper towel commercial and how it connects to the suicide bomber incident from the beginning of Civil War. The papertowel is called Lagos (the name of the place), it was wiping up a red liquid (symbolizing the blood), and the narrator said something like “when you make a mess and you didn’t mean to”.
If they actually do cast Krasinski as Reed Richards...just...idk man what the hell are people thinking wanting him in that role
It just all goes back to that fan stunt-casting if wanting him as Richards and Emily Blunt as Sue. People really need to get over that.
Really good episode, though part of me is still bummed at the shift last episode caused & how much Marvel-y outside stuff there is. As much as I love badass Wanda, I can't decide how much I like her just walking outside to threaten SWORD & then returning. I think it works as a Marvel-y way of showing her trying to desperately hold this illusion of happiness & normalcy together... but, that stuff is less interesting overall than the sitcom stuff. The most interesting parts, outside of Pietro, were Agnes asking if she should take it from the top & Vision fighting over the end credits 'til they broke. That's the kinda playful stuff I want more of. Like I said the other week, still would love if they committed to something like actually showing a studio audience at some point. I'm not sure yet if I interpret this as literally the Pietro we know from those movies, or just a Pietro played by someone we recognize. The whole unexplained decade shifting certainly would fit that version of the character, lol. Think it's more interesting if he's just some version of her brother passing through this world she made, though, instead of literally the guy who went through Days of Future Past stumbling into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We'll see what they do with this, I guess. One thing I'm getting more concerned about is this not feeling like a statisfying, complete story (that just happens to have elements spinning into Strange 2). With how aware Wanda seems to be of everything ("seems" being the key word here), I don't know that her arc will be waking up. And, since aspects of this reality stuff is clearly continuing into at least a couple other Marvel things... what resolution will this have? Maybe Wanda coming to grips with her grief & letting go, but with whatever hidden threat being the one who keeps stuff going into Strange? Would prefer if it didn't end on a "crazy" Wanda note.
Anybody else think there’s a chance she ends up being the villain in Doctor Strange 2? I wouldn’t mind if they did the “Wanda Maximoff will return in Doctor Strange 2...” thing but Wanda disappears and it turns into “Scarlet Witch” and they finally give her her name. She’d make a great villain imo.
I don't know if anyone on here watches Family Guy, but the most recent episode kinda dropped a hint to the X-Men quicksilver reappearance. In the start of the episode, Meg does a version of the scene from days of future past when they are breaking out Magneto from his prison, with the headphones and the positioning of people to hurt themselves, and afterwards, Lois hollers Damnit, is one of u secretly an X-man! It aired days before his appearance on Wandavison. Just a thought, seams like it wouldn't be a coincidence.
