I like One Foot more but still really cool

 

I actually really love Headphones haha, and I'm super glad it seems like they're gonna have diversity on this album. They could easily make a whole album of "Shut Up and Dance" clones and it would do great, but they seem to want to still try new things.

 

No yea exactly, I still think it's really really cool and I do prefer them bracing out and not having to stay in a comfortable place for them. I definitely don't dislike Headphones, they're 2/2 for released songs so far.

 

Headphones is an opposite thing of first single. Need to check whole album. Interesting how many experiments they made.

 

kamikaze is decent. i still think surrender might be my favorite of the 4 released.

If Headphones had a better hook (I don't hate it though) then it would definitely be a top 5 WTM song tbh, it's such a jam and love that guitar solo near the end

 

Surrender is so nice. This album sure isn't "Shut Up and Dance" part two.

 

Solid album. My fav - Press Restart, All Night, Can't Sleep, Kamikaze!

 

On my second listen and I'm really digging this.

 

tiger teeth stood out to me on first listen. had it on repeat for a good hour or so

 

"Lost in the Wild" reminds me of MUNA's "About U."

 

Lost in the Wild is my favorite song on here I think.

 

Lost in the Wild and Tiger Teeth are probably my favorites on this. Really enjoyable album though!

I agree. What If Nothing sounded more like a band making an album for a record label looking for a big radio hit rather than the band that released their self titled album and Talking is Hard.

This song sounds like a step in the right direction.

 

Talking is Hard, I would dare say, is one the best pop rock albums of the last 10 years. It’s so effortlessly fun

They did some interesting things on WIN, namely the vocoder interlude and Tiger Teeth, but was off the mark elsewhere
