Weird that no one involved in this noticed and/or cared that the riff is so damn similar to Architects' 'A Match Made in Heaven'.
That riff is 100% similar, but at least the rest of the song didn't sound like a copy. Decent song, the clean vocals during the chorus didn't really do it for me though. Love the band, just don't know if they will ever top Blueprints for me.
I'm just thinking from the perspective of a songwriter, if the similarity in such a major section was that obvious I'd want to do something about it, you know? Perhaps it doesn't matter haha This doesn't come close to anything off Deadweight in my opinion. High hopes for the eventual album still, though.
