    I really don't know how I feel about this. I think it'd make a better book than a movie, a lot of the effects were super off putting, in a bad way. The kids deep voice wasn't unsettling, it was just annoying. The effects are really bad it got especially goofy when it went full looney tunes towards the end with the grown kid crawling under the sidewalk
    But it definitely peaked my curiosity, I really wanted to know what was going on...wish there was more of a payoff.

    Threw this on earlier, pretty much agree with the above. The kid turning into a Martin felt rather obvious from pretty early on, so I wish we’d at least gotten a bit more of the humanoid/alien stuff. Also I feel like it’s sort of impossible to overact in psych thrillers, but Poots sure walked that line a couple of times
