They're on Equal Vision now so I suspect that's going to be the place, but possibly a tour variant for $50 on their anniversary run. Their wording says "four variants" so unless there's another /1000 coming like they did with DB, this might be it.
Restock of Amber Pacific The Possibility and the Promise. Amber Pacific 'The Possibility And The Promise' Red With Black Splatter LP
Damn. Is that a new pressing or just a restock of the old one? I’ve had it on my want list for a while and it’s $90 for the cheapest on Discogs.
the one day i forget to check this thread The Everglow pops up. i was able to snag the marbled variant, which i actually generally prefer over splatter anyway
so that's like, ~$100 on Mae and Hayley this week. plus all the money i just spent on MtG and comics over the weekend. it's fiiiiine.
leave it to my Deftones record to show up the same day as my Kallax. also on a related note, anyone have any screw/wall anchor recommendations for mounting a 2x4? the box didn't come with any, and i don't have any recommended screws (i.e. non-flathead) on hand
I think IKEA used to include mounting brackets for the Kallax - it should be these. If you walk into an IKEA and give them the part number, they usually give them for free. YMMV if you’re ordering online or over the phone. https://ebay.us/m/VjiH9h
i have the brackets, but they only included screws to attach them to the bookshelf, not the wall. on top of that, i'm in an odd predicament where one end might be able to be safely screwed into a stud, but another definitely can't. i might swing by Menards tomorrow and see if they have anything they recommend, but i wanna make sure it's secure and able to be mounted properly (since it's up against a baseboard)
There are a plethora of drywall anchors that you can purchase - they should all specify their maximum weight. They're all super-easy to use and are designed to work in place of a stud. I have used MANY of these in my 15+ years in condos. They can look like this: But you can find some fancier ones that'll bear more weight. Hope that helps
yeah I used something similar just that housed crazy amounts of weight. I dont remember which ones specificaly though.
I like the screw in anchors that adtron posted about for drywall. For a thinner wall type I prefer toggle bolt anchors. Unfortunately the walls on the main floor of my house are lath and plaster, which isn’t reliable when it comes to hanging or securing stuff to a wall. So I attached some melamine particle board to the back of the kallax by screwing in from the back, then secured the whole thing to the wall by screwing directly into the studs. Hopefully your house isn’t 100 years old and you can just use anchors and call it a day!
Static-X Wisconsin Death Trip 25th anniversary remastered tings. I don't have the MOV press so this was an instant order for me. https://static-x.org/collections/wisconsin-death-trip-25th-anniversary-corrosive-edition
took a while to get the anchors in the wall, but it's secured! learned i could forego buying more backspacers from Turntable Revival by making my own out of acid-free foam board (that stack of red rectangles you see on the left). gonna secure them down once i catch my breath (and make some herbal tea because i'm a bit sick today). after that, i can finally get all the records out of the office and onto the shelf (which is great timing because my desk comes in today)
