I need to revisit the Weatherbox discography. Haven't listened in too long. Have also been on a big Circa and MovMou kick this week.
No photo, but was finally able to open up a few boxes that I had saved for my birthday: +44 WYHSB Purple AVA WDNTW AVA I-Empire IVC Crush++ PinK
This compilation dropped significantly in price on UO. Features the ultra-cool cover of "Burning Down The House" by Paramore: Various Artists - Everyone's Getting Involved UO Exclusive 2XLP | Urban Outfitters
seems like some other ones on sale had a price drop, too; items in cart went from $65 to $49. also tinashe back in stock, so with that i ended up paying $65 anyway but got a whole extra album out of it. was waiting for their extra 40% off deal, but this seems just as good.
Mine is out for delivery today, it’s going to be really hard sitting on this for a few months. I’m thinking of giving it to my wife for our anniversary in the fall. It’s one of those presents for both of us but it will still totally surprise her
she was so blown away in a "i didn't even know this was in the possibility realm of asking for" stage, it was cute
Yessss... I dug this album from the get go when all my friends disregarded it cause it was the furthest thing from I Am Hollywood. The Widow of Magnoia and (((louds are my favorite HIL tracks.
Same. I thought they were another run of the mill scene band with IAH and this dropped and I instantly became a fan.
I still love IAH it was such a huge album for me and my group of friends at the time. But musically and stylistically, SOTP is just more superior and definitely the moment they found their footing. I'm sure they got flack in the Christian circles at the time cause there wasn't anything "Christian" on this album.
