Diaper Don strikes again

 

More shelf-ish pics: first one is older when I was using a pair of Amazon Echos for speakers (stereo paired for streaming), but we swapped the doors on the cabinets and I bought a pair of Edifiers and hand painted them white to match the room since they didn’t make a Bluetooth version in white at the time. Also, boss reveal playing something from his collection (the Coco soundtrack).

 

Oh damn, I have a preorder with Rude and maybe this explains the Anberlin - NS delay with Rough Trade since that's an MOV record. I think(?) all of my other preorders are domestic US.

i don't think i have any grails at this point. i'd wanna eventually get more Laufey, Lucy Dacus, and St Vincent, but they're usually readily available at around $35 and i just haven't pulled the trigger yet. i thought i wanted more Elliott Smith but i'm perfectly fine with just XO, mayyybe Either/Or eventually.

The setup from like 2013-2019. With the exception of having upgraded from a Crosley. Due to space in the house I had to store records in a different room than the record player. The speakers are just sitting on the floor on either side of the buffet



2019-2022. When we bought this house I knew exactly what I wanted to do with this random wall cutout in the living room haha. Side pieces are the shelves from the first setup, just slightly cut down and painted. Found the middle piece on OfferUp and stuck a 2x4 in the bottom to seal it up



2023-now. Have definitely posted this before, but here’s an updated pic. One of those bottom cabinets is completely full as well lol. Pretty much all IKEA stuff, just modded to fit what I needed it to, then framed with crown moulding and baseboard
