I got a copy of Hell Finds You Everywhere en route. Still looking for a copy of their first. Their new album is amazing. It wasn't on my radar but I've been listening to it non stop. Seeing them on Tuesday as well!
what i really want is Transatlanticism and the thing is i've seen it around for the same price and was just hoping to get it for less. idk.
I keep doing this with Paramore self titled… one day I’ll find it used and in the variant I want… don’t want to pay $50 new to have it shipped to me
i caved and ended up getting the one with the new cover and, yeah, paying more than i did for any one of Hayley's other albums. i just really, really wanted to have all her stuff on vinyl at the time
my partner just received their pre-orders for the Steven Universe Movie soundtrack and Rebecca Sugar’s Spiral Bound and idk y’all I like 10” records sometimes, I think they’re cute.
I've got a handful of 10" records. I don't really mind them, but I put them all at the end of my shelf so it does break up a band's discography. I'm not throwing a 10" record between 12" records. That would just be crazy.

Ahh tempting! But I just don’t understand why media mail is $11 for a single LP. I just preordered EIT and that was $5.99 shipping.
Yeahhh, it sucks that some labels/storefronts will "skim off the top" and charge more than a label/box costs.
they’re definitely a little annoying when it comes to storage, but less so for me than 7 inches. I definitely wouldn’t want most records pressed to 10, but it suits some records imo (the ones I mentioned are a perfect case).
It baffles me that some bands STILL don’t see the value in pressing their stuff to vinyl haha. I gave the band I reviewed today another reminder:
There's definitely a value in it. People want it and will buy it. But you have to order sooo many copies in order for it to be a lower cost for the customer/fan, and if you want to make a profit. Pressing 300-500 records is roughly $12-15 per record, and a lot of companies have a pretty high minimum you have to order. So if you're not a touring band, that's a lot to pay out of pocket, and it will probably take you foreverrrr to even come close to selling that many. I haven't looked up that band so I'm not sure what their following is like or how much demand for vinyl they have. There are companies that will do short runs though, and lathe cuts are a more affordable option too.
