Came up on a pretty inexpensive copy of Depression Cherry this afternoon from a local dude on FB Marketplace. It’s the edition with the velvet sleeve, which is pretty cool. Certainly a unique addition to the collection

Didn't realize Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs was considered underrated. I loved that when it came out.
If I ever get a new house, a listening room and a board game room both with built-in shelving suitable for the hobbies are must-haves. Of course, that would mean going custom which likely means more $$$ than I'll ever have, but you never know!
I’ve found going custom for shelving is often not as expensive as you’d think, especially if you’re cool with just solid color material and not a wood grain or two tone deal
we also did several projects with them (pantry and closet) and got kind of a prorated price vs if we did them all individually
If you're even slightly handy, you can do custom shelving yourself with Ikea stuff and have it look pretty professional. Key part is being handy, though. No shame in contracting it out, just saying it doesn't have to be pricey.
my partner and i both indulge in both of those hobbies, so when we get a permanent place, this is definitely something we'll consider too
It's not just the shelves, I want custom designed spaces for the two. The board game room would be fine in something approximately dining room sized (and is where my current room is), but for the listening room I'd want it to be designed for acoustics in mind - golden ratio sized, thick drywall, etc. My current place for my vinyl setup sucks ass for acoustics lol.
Would second this. Very easy to do a lot of these things yourself, especially if you don’t want to pay the inflated prices for the companies to do it.
